It's been 3 years full now since 2023 you Put my Account on hold after I received money from Binance since I was trading, and you decided to say that it's *****ulent money and blocked my account.. I was told to email an affidavit and proof , of which I did back in 2023 and guess what? I never received and feedback from you guys, I even tried calling your ***** department but I'm always told to go to the branch and , every time I go to your branch your system is always offline and I never get any assistance, and I can't keep going up and down since I'm unemployed and don't have money to keep going to your branches , since all the money I had is locked in my account by you guys. You know the sad part is that I always receive sms's and emails about interest rates and monthly bank statements on an account I don't even have access on, and it's sad coz I can't do anything to receive that money.. I've been patient for a full 3years now with you guys, I'm thinking of taking this matter to the Banking Ombudsman maybe you will be able to communicate with them because I'm tired and I've been patient for too long I can't be fighting tooth and nail for my money which I worked hard for. My African Bank account was blocked in 2023 with no further communication from the bank regarding this matter until now my account is still on hold, but they keep sending me statements, with a blocked account, I would like for them to fix this issue because whenever I tried going to the branch I wad told that their system is offline and can't be assisted therefore I would like for them to please help unlock my account thank you.

This is a ****en ****ed up company with 0% professionalism it's been 2 full weeks now waiting for my package from Amazon, up until now I haven't received it they keep telling me the driver couldn't deliver my package I even emailed them for Like 20 times telling them that I lost the number they were supposed to deliver to and I gave them a new number and they agreed to using that number but up until today I haven't received my package, on Friday I got a call from a lady named Thando and she promised that my package was on the way and will be delivered but later I got a message that they couldn't deliver until today, I need that package today please I'm ****en fed up now.
I would like to applaud Discoevry Bank for finally attending to my problem and they managed to help and explain everything to me , after months of complaining about them I'm very happy with their service,may they carry on attending to their customers.
Good as I am writing this review I'm so angry 😡 fed up and disappointed with Discovery Bank and their poor service when it comes to their customers, since May 2023 my Bank has been Blocked and I was told to send a Police Affidavit and a Certified ID Copy so they can be able to resolve this matter and I did just that hoping that they will help unblock my account , but guess what No they decided to not help at all giving me stories ... And I have been sending thousands of emails , Calling their ***** Line each and every single day since May and all I kept get is that an " Investigator will call you before end of business day" and u would wait for their call and nothing all I kept getting were thousands if difference references saying that they have opened my ***** case , so I would like to know how does Discovery Banks Investigators work ? They keep promising that they will call but I have never been called by any Investigator since May 2023 so I was wondering if they even have those Investigators whom they assume they have , because every since I keep receiving the same story of an investigator will call and sort this out up until now they even promise that I must not worry my account will be unblocked but nothing has changed , I'm really fed up because it's been 6 full months with a locked account and empty promises of Investigators who who'd call , I hope this touches your conscience and resolve this matter and can the Investigators start doing their jobs because clearly they are not doing them properly because I can't be expecting a call from an Investigators for a whole period of 6 months that's just ********* and unprofessional.. All I want is for My Account to be Unblocked and then I will stop being a nuisance to Your so called " Investigators " .... right not I don't recommend this Bank to anyone their service is appalling especially when it comes to Investigators who don't do their job I am a very disappointed client I must say , I hope you resolve this matter as soon as possible because after all its my money which I'm being denied access to.
Good day I'm writing this review because I want answers about Discovery Bank regarding my case of my Blocked account I called the ***** department last week and they gave me a reference number and said that an investigator will call and sort this out I have been waiting for a call since last week Wednesday but still I'm not recovering any call its quiet or they chose to close my case with no way going forward because the lady I spoke with on the phone said that the investigator will open my account and that gave me hope but up until today nothing has changed I'm really tired and disappointed with this Bank because I have been fighting for 5 months now for my account to be opened but nothing has changed I just hope that this time around they will take my case seriously and open my account because I need my money then I cut ties with this bank all I need is my money and then I'm done so please help out !!!
Complaint: I am so unhappy with Discovery Bank I will never recommend this Bank to anyone. Been locked out of my account and not having any access to my own money for 4 full months. I have been calling the ***** department for a very long time but I never got a solution as to when or how they will unlock my account , I even sent tons of emails with a Police Affidavit hoping that it would make it easy for them to unlock my account but still no luck I even wrote them on Hellopeter and I was told they will call back and try and resolve this matter but up until today I have never heard from them, I'm just disappointed 😥 and fed up with this Bank I just hope they look into this matter please.
Good day I have a very serious issue with Discovery Bank they have Blocked my Bank Account since May and I have done everything to try an resolve this matter but they are still not helping me with unlocking this account I even submitted a Police Affidavit and my Certified ID Copy hoping that they will look into this matter and resolve it but up until now there is no way going forward regarding this they keep saying that they were given a heads up by Capitec Bank to Block my Account because someone reported it as ***** of which I'm not even aware of that person who reported my account , I have been sending them numerous emails and making phone calls hoping that they will help me but up until now I am unable to access my money so I am very sadden with Discovery Bank I just want them to resolve this matter and unblock my Account because I even have a Police Affidavit stating where the funds in my bank came from. So please help me unblock my account. THANK YOU
