Tent Warehouse, also trades as Royal Tents. ****mers, we dealt with Alfred who seemed fairly helpful, but turned out to be unprofessional, and dishonest. We bought and paid for a 5m x 5m boudior tent. We were told that the item was a stock item, therefore refundable. We have still not received the refund, as once the money had been paid over we were sent a handwritten invoice saying no refunds. We changed the size of the tent, which had to be made up. The handwritten invoice clearly stated no tent would be made up unless a 50% deposit was paid. Our client cancelled the tent, and they are holding our payment, which was way under the 50%, according to Alfred he gave the instruction to make up the tent. He is a salesman, and a poor one at that, so he could not have given the instruction regardless. We have been pushed from pillar to post, had no response from management, bearing in mind that emails have been sent and not responded to. Essentially this is a case of theft. Alfred made it very clear that should he need to pay for the tent it would come off his salary, which is not our problem. This was probably an exaggeration of the truth, as they have effectively ****** the money paid over. DO NOT DEAL WITH EITHER COMPANY.
I have not been able to draw, or transfer money from a Trust account held with Nedbank in months. I have had very poor service from two employees at Nedbank Nicolway, who have not been able to assist since a visit to my office in June. I was told that the problem would be resolved in a few hours, and I was told that on their side it is showing as linked to my Nedbank profile. When I requested a screenshot of the linked profile I received no response. Then we went from it supposedly showing on their side, to they need to escalate the query to their IT department. The list is endless in terms of excuses, and false promises. I could go on forever. I would appreciate someone from higher management to contact me regarding the matter.
I have been trying to cancel my contract for months. I still keep getting billed. You cannot get through to anyone, and if you are lucky enough to they cut you off. Totally unprofessional and rude, not to mention dishonest. I have even gone into a branch, they called cancellations on my behalf, and tge cancellation’s department, who then advised I had to give a months notice, 3 month after I had already cancelled. Now I’m being billed R70 for in unpaid debit order that should not have been taken off, as well as an escalation rate in the existing contract, as well as another bill. The debit order being taken off is not the agreed amount. I would imagine that borders on *****. If my problem is not resolved I am going to the NCC (National Consumer Commission), who are completely competent, and will ing to assist customers that are being ****** blind.
