On Friday the 13th I went to Edgar's Gateway Mall hoping to buy a Samsung A15 while browsing a vodaccom consultant approached me with an offer while asking for further clarification they said they were going to check on the system and they signed me up on an unfair contract that is Sim locked I cannot even log in with my email or do any thing with that phone it is practically a toy. The phone initially cost R4000 but with this contract it adds up to R7000 which is unfair and it was not agreed upon I was forced to take a phone that I am not pleased with because they only cared with their sales not the customer satisfaction. I practically begged them to cancel the deal i will pay cash for the phone they bluntly refused.The people that assisted me was the manager Chamaine and the sales consultant Devashni at Gateway Mall at Edgar's. I spoke to Vodacom consultant and they assured that they cannot cancel the contract as it's Edgar's store fault and they are the ones that should've canceled it on the sport as I was an unsatisfied customer.
I went to Edgar's at Gateway Mall in Durban on Friday 13 december 2024 at 10:49, looking for a phone. The people who assisted me were Devashni and Chamaine. As I was still browsing through the phones they offered the deal where i will get the phone and will only pay deposit and rent with airtime for 11 months. I asked for the specific amount to be paid and they told me only the system will tell me, they have to check. They did their process and as soon as they finished they told me that I will be renting the phone with a 100 mb of data that was going to cost me R18 daily for a phone to be active on top of the deposit I already paid .I told them immediately that I'm not happy with the offer they have to cancel it and I will pay for the phone in full and be done with it. They bluntly refused and told they can't cancel, its not possible. I told them I can't buy a phone that only cost R4000 and end up paying more than R7000. They did not bother. I left with the phone after paying R1200 deposit and R540 worth of airtime that was supposed to rent it for 1 month .Now the phone is practically a toy .I cannot do anything with it. I can't even use my email address on this phone now , I have to buy a new phone because this one is useless. The phone I bought was a Samsung A15. I'm not satisfied with the product and I would like a refund.
At 13:46 19 September 2024 I recharged with R279 airtime the I tried to buy 100G data and it said I do not have enough airtime to buy that bundle I Called the call center they said they can see the airtime but do not know what the problem is and they said they will activate it on their side at 13:52 I receive a message that said 100G has been activated they also changed my terrifying plan of which I did not ask them to do when I call them back the consultant now tells me there is no bundle that was activated and also to change the tarrif back I they are going to charge me R5 which was not my fault in the first place all I want is my data as in now and no R5 will be charged from me for your incompetency the number that I recharged 0618683689
Metropolitan consultant by the name of Mandla Mkhwa**** called me and offered me a funeral policy which has better benefits than the one that I had already with Metropolitan he **** to me and said this new policy now replaces the old one and it will start deducting in September 2024 now what ****es me off when I got my payslip for September I had double deductions from Metropolitan with two different funeral policies which was not what I was initially told on the 4th of September I contacted Metropolitan and demanded a refund for the new policy that I told them to cancel since it was taken under false pretence they told me the documents I needed to send and I sent them the filling day on the 5th of September 20204 since the n I have not received my refund I have a good mind to cancel the second policy as well
I have an ongoing third party claim with budget of which they are refusing to fix my car their client damaged . At first they offered me R15 000 which I declined and they said I must go and do a quote with a panel beater . I went to Techno star a did a quote which amounted to R53 000 and I sent it to them .Now they are saying they will only pay R18 000 I must claim the balance from insurance and ruin my risk profile as if I am the one who was at fault. I will never recommend Telesure investment hodings to anyone .claim reference 778712959
