I called Absa ***** on the morning of 18 Oct to report a charge that went off my credit card that was *****ulent. I have done this in the past and the previous people who assisted me, stopped my card, got a new card delivered to me and logged a dispute to get the amount refunded to me within a week. This time however the person I spoke to said he could only stop my card and I had to log the dispute myself. Even though I specifically asked to have my card delivered, he instead had it sent to a branch. Furthermore, I logged the dispute that same morning and I have not received any feedback to date despite me following up and despite their auto-response saying they will provide feedback within 3-5 days.
I recently ordered 3 blinds from Blinds Online via their website. Their prices are reasonable and the ordering process seamless. I received the blinds a few days later and upon installing them I noticed an issue with 1 of the 3. After 2 or 3 emails and 1 phonecall the issue was resolved and a few days later I received a new track that works perfectly. It seems that these days, very few businesses put their clients first but this is one that certainly does. Thank you Blinds Online.
It was truly such a pleasure dealing with Zee and Char from Uber Solar. They were in constant contact with me answering all my questions and giving me whatever information I required. It was a refreshing to deal with a company that really values their clients. The installation team even had the decency to call me and inform me that they were running about an hour late. The installation was done quickly and professionally and they left my property without a single piece of mess when done. I even received emails that evening detailing everything about the system that was already explained by Simba the installer.
Their service levels have dropped significantly since 2021 when they did my solar installation to now when I am merely requesting to add on an additional battery. I'm on a WA group with 4 people on their side but they don't seem to be talking to each other nor does it seem like they know whether they are coming or going.. it's like pulling teeth to get a simple quote from them! And now I get an email asking if I made a decision because their schedules are filling up!! Send me the quote that I asked for then I can make a decision!!!
This is the 3rd complaint I'm logging about Absa Activates shockingly poor customer service. They never answer the phones, don't respond to app requests and respond to emails months later. So this is the only method I have to contact them.Clearly a leadership issue there since their app also hardly ever works!
I flew with Flysafair this wknd and I as impressed with both flights. Very friendly staff, easy and efficient processes and early and clear communication when there was a delay. What more can you ask for really..
I have now sent my laptop in 5 times for repairs in the last year since I bought it. Each time takes 2 weeks to repair so I obviously can't do any work in that time and they refuse to replace it or give me a refund. They also have now been ignoring my request for feedback, just really pathetic customer service!
This is the 2nd negative review I'm posting about ABSA Activate in a month. You just cannot get any response from them. I sent through a query a week ago and the automated response says they'll get back to me in 48 hours. Nothing! Sent through another this week and again nothing! So looks like everytime I need action I need to log a complaint on here to get some service from these guys!
I recently purchased a Chery Tiggo from Chery West Rand and it's been the ABSOLUTE WORST customer service experience I've ever had in my entire life!! False promises, pathetic communication, total lack of respect for my time and patience and they don't know whether they are coming or going. Firstly, they falsely advertise a rate of prime less 2 or 3 then tell you no it's based on what the bank offers. I have email confirmation of a discount that wasn't app**** to the invoice, the deal took so long to get finalised that I ended up paying another installment on my previous vehicle. I had to constantly follow up with them after being ignored via email and text, as though I was selling them the car, not the other way around. I finally got the vehicle last Friday but it was not the spec according to what the salesperson informed me, furthermore the kit that I ordered and paid for wasn't completed so I took the car back on Monday to have it finished which was supposed to take a day or 2 max and now a week later I'm told that it will only be ready on Monday because the kit was fitted poorly!! Again I had to chase them to be told this. I've purchased several vehicles in my life and NEVER experienced such ********** service before! I bought the car as a bday present for himself and it's turned out to be nothing but a nightmare!!
I've called Absa Activate several times and there is no answer after several minutes waiting on each call. I've even sent an email which their automated voice advises to do and over 24 hours later still no response whatsoever!!!
