Spoke to tasneem dout regarding the switch over of my policy from santam to santam direct. Great service all round.
I have not yet been sorted out with my issue with miway Insurance, but I am extremely happy they have staff like Tebogo Pitjeng working for them, who actually care about customer satisfaction. I hope to have my claim sorted as soon as possible
Thanks to Rachel Twala from the claims department who assisted me. I submitted my claim on Friday, Monday I handed in the supporting documents. On Tuesday, The claim was finalized and sorted. Excellent Service Delivery
Perthetic Service from Miway! I read through some of the reviews and all I see is frustration with staff and how us clients needs to follow up on claims ect We pay for a service, what we get in return is completely disappointing. I mean to fight and go through all the hassle just to evens get a follow up is ridiculous I have an unresolved claim which took place on the 11th of Jan 2025 today it's the 7th of Feb. I am still without wheels... To top all off, my vehicle got damaged whilst being in miways possession and nothing is in place to get my vehicles initial claim sorted let alone the damages caused by them, I have provided proof in writing and obviously before and after photos. It is extremely frustrating dealing with staff over the phone which I find is not interested in helping at all. Especially management! I am in the process of laying my complaints with the ombudsman which I have notified miway, they don't seem to bother. I asked numerous times ti cancel my contract, I've been paying for 4 years. They still have the nerve to debit R1500 from my account. Miway please, stop this nonsense. People work hard we expect to be covered not pay and have to fight you get assistance from you guys If we complain to management, they are of no help what are we to do? So frustrating I don't advise anyone to take out insurance with miway
Horrible Service, I have to call to follow up to find out what's happening with my case. When I finally get help after going through so many different agents I finally get a report with a joke of a quotation. My vehicles wheels got stollen they offer the cheapest and lowest of quality products. I have being with miway for just over 4years, 1st time unfortunately I had to make use of the service I've been paying for and this is pathetic service and low balling experience I am dealing with. I don't advise anyone to make use of this insurance. Seriously a *******! I told the agent what the offering me they can keep it. I am seriously disgusted
Be very cautions when buying from this company. I bought a vehicle on the 30th August 2023 (was told 3weeks max waiting period) still no registration documents and Ive been Calling sending Emails no response, if i do get in contact they direct me to a different a person and the story goes on. Their doors are now closed for business in Cape Town. *********, Unprofessional and VERY dishonest.
