This is a proper **** and waste of time. I received 2 calls offering me R57 - R58k per 1oz. I agree to meet with them. Offer changes to R52k saying the offer of R57 - 58k was not doable. You don't want to deal with people who lack integrity especially when dealing with high value items. Stay away from these people.
Hired a car through Carflexi.com and paid for it in October for rental on 19 Dec. When I landed I contacted the rental company, Blitz. They asked if anyone had contacted me which I said no. After considerable delay they eventually tell me they want to upgrade me as the car I selected is not available. Bonus, right? Wrong! The car I selected was a 7 seater as we are 6 passengers but the “upgrade” (brand of car I never heard of) was a 5 seater. I said that won’t do. Apparently it’s the only 7 seater they have and it suddenly, at the time I landed decided to have a mechanical failure. Carflexi and Blitz are a ****. Stick with the big names. Had to pay a massive premium to hire a car at airport. Not worth the apparent saving. They are a ****.

Do not trust these people - they don't keep to their word, they lie and deceive and poor customer service. Contacted them to make a physical visit to premises and asked for operating hours. Got there about 30 minutes before close. No one to open. Called them and said they would open for me. Then calls me back and says they are closed. They close at 4:30. I then read same person's email out that says they only close at 5. Drove 45 minutes but they absolutely didn't care. Do you really want to trust people with this type of morality? Lots of ways to cut corners when it comes to furniture manufacturing. STAY AWAY!!!
I recently bought a Ford Tourneo Connect from Ford Fury in Rivonia through a salesman by the name of Wiecus. This is the first Ford vehicle I have ever purchased and I am already starting to regret having to deal with Ford. I have submitted customer feedback to Fury Ford and Ford SA. The latter seemed ok to close matter once refund processed with no genuine concern and paid little attention to the delay or anything it would do to make it up.

We have had several broken promises: (i) after much debating and fighting we managed to get the car a day later than promised
My family and I (4 small kids and 2 adults) had dinner at Cafe O. We ordered 2 starters and a couple of mains and then realised we had Entertainer vouchers. Within 5 minutes of ordering (probably 2 minutes) we requested the server to cancel the starters because we had vouchers and wanted to rather order more main meals which we did. These mains would substitute the starters to avail the vouchers (buy 1 main and get 1 free). On being served we get served the starters. The server never mentioned she was unable to cancel the starters so we end up now with way too much food. If this was not bad enough they now set off the lowest cost meals which were the starters when the vouchers should only apply to the main meals. So we end up getting the 2 starters free (which was cheating) and only main free. A double whammy!!

The food was below average and very disappointing. Being robbed was just a cherry on top.

Explained why the restaurant was probably one of the quietest on The Walk.

Stay away!!!
I travelled to Dubai for a few days and on landing I visited the du shop at Abu Dhabi international T3 Skypark 4. There was no Etisalat shop (which I have used in the past with no problem) so I went to du. After paying around AED235 for a SIM and data access for my mifi device I was able to connect. At the shop I wa requested to provide my passport and visa which I provided and copies of which were taken. 2 days later I was disconnected. On contacting du customer service, Joshua Jothi, who was of zero help and accepted that I was being punished for du's process issues, I was told the turnaround time for fixing such an issue is 24 - 48 hours!!! How can this help a visitor who is Dubai for just a few days. du is stealing from its customers. My documents are all in order and I travel extensively around the world and several times a year to Dubai. I've never had such a problem with Etisalat so visotrs please don't waste your time and money with du. du is stealing form its customers and will go unpunished but it's ok to punish the victim. Oppression at its best!
