A nightmarish headache. I keep getting a 20 mins timeout for incorrect details. My details were entered correctly, I did not copy or paste either. I have tried over 50 times in past 4 days!!!! A joke.... complete waste of time.
I had a MTN phone arranged for delivery on the 11/02/25. I work nights, I stayed awake,as the delivery stated between 9-11. The courier arrived 1136. My finger prints were done 4 times on their gadget, I was told, sorry, the safe won't open as we cannot verify your ID at home affairs, and I could see it was just buffering. On the 12th a lady phoned me from DSV to arrange another date........the 14th......I received 2 sms, first at 0735, and second at 1205 to say the courier was coming through. My front door was open, I did not hear any hoot at gate, and had my phond with me, I then saw a missed call....... nobody came. By 1430i phoned them, and lady said the courier may still be coming, as he hadn't updated their communications online. I waited, and nothing.. I sent email, with no response to dsv. On 18th I phoned and requested call back......lady said she didn't see any email communication from me, yet I took the email address off your website for customer care she said that she would email MTN regarding a manual delivery regarding the phone after I complained about 1st delivery on 11th, she did not get hold of me, I then had another 3 people phone me, 2 lady's and a man. The last lady phoned 20th to set up delivery, and I said another lady was emailing MTN regarding hand delivery, she said she would enquire and get back to me, of which I have heard nothing to date. No email communication or anything. I am only putting 1 star so I can post on this Hello Peter page, but have had extremely bad service from DSV and feel like cancelling my contract with MTN now, because if the use DSV for online contracts and IV been treated so poorly, then I am extremely hesitant. The delivery was satisfactory, but the goods are cheap quality and not as described. There's nothing free actually, because you have to buy minimum R350, the items discounted from R349 to R89 are a joke, as they not worth the R349 but are only actually valued at R89. I won't buy from them again, ******* and bad quality items. Out of 8 things I bought,only 2 were semi decent.
I am very upset, iv had agents whatsapping me this past week, endless phone calls and this company even phinimy workplace!!! First of all I did not apply for debt review or assistance. Yes, I have debt which I pay every month, and never missed a payment, but to phone my workplace asking for me is unacceptable!! The embarrassment, of my colleagues telling me debt check phoned for you!!!!! I phoned and spoke to 2 woman at your telesales, obviously upset, the first woman put the phone down on me!!! Are your staff not trained on dealing with upset people?????, the second woman laughed at me on the pho e, when I said "this is my ID and phone number, take me off your list and stop harassing me.......with the POPPI act, a person should not be able to get your details from any lender or even if a loan was declined ....you can take me phone number see which call agents spoke to me and give them a warning as they know nothing about the most important retail law!! Your communication on the 5th through here you stated my refund was processed, I do not see that anywhere in my banking App.....advise as to where this refund was deposited?? Ingrid Dunn
I am still waiting for a agent to contact me regarding my cancelation, as I said I cannot pay for wifi when I haven't had since February 26th You need to phone me at 1430, because I work night duty. I have spent a lot of time.e and money on calls trying to sort this out sine Feb 26th, and both routers were sent back with CCD couriers on 26March, yet nobody emails me regarding anything about my request to cancel this damn subscription which has become a living nightmare
On the 26th of March a courier brought the Rain outdoor router to my home, I did not sign for it, and gave him the indoor router as well and said he must return both as I was canceling with rain. Almost a week later a agent from CCD couriers phoned me to set up a collection. I explained everything above to the lady, she said she would escalate it, which obviously didn't happen as I got another agent phoning me regarding the same story, I explained once again. Now I have seen missed calls from the same CCD couriers, and I am actually fed up that nobody in this company communicates what the client has told them to other staff,vor even ask the courier who came to my home that day. Between CCD and Rain, I have never been caused so much frustration and had to repeat myself to numerous people with no positive outcome as yet. No emails just a AI response on hello peter! Only once Rain receives both routers will I be refunded.
The whole of March, actually from 26 of Feb I had no internet, the outdoor router arrived on the 26th with the CCD couriers, I gave him the 101 router as well as the 5G outdoor router and told him I am canceling with rain. As I have explained numerous times, I can only take calls in the afternoon. I want this subscription canceled. I want to be re imbursed for from 26th Feb to end of March, as I had no internet except for 2 days as I explained to numerous people. I am not getting any response from RAIN, no body answers my call me back requests. TO BE CLEAR, I CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION and I expect a refund, follow up with CCD couriers, a lady phoned me from them 2 days ago, and I said both routers must be returned to RAIN
Extremely bad service. Last week I waited all day for my Rain delivery, they didn't come, CCD then phoned me on 18th and I had to choose a time frame for today, which I did. I had my front door open, and checked out every time I heard a hootbin the valley, but no CCD courier with my parcel. What's the point of booking a time I ask? CCD sms links to reschedule delivery another joke, you get x2 opportunities to do this, then get told via a pop up, that you have used your maximum log ins??? I only gave this provider 1 star, to write a review, but I wouldn't even give it one realistically speaking.
My internet been down since 26th, I contacted rain and spoke to at least 3 people in 7 days, amongst the emails I have sent. One agent ahead me calling out the serial number of the router, and said he would escalate problem and a agent would call me back last week already! Today I somehow got the same voice asking the same questions. I have explained to all, there's a connection without internet! Iv rebooted several times as he asked, I switched positions of router, he stated it shows I am connected, but I have no internet, I had to keep repeating this! I feel like I'm wasting money here, Rain quickly deducted my payment on the 1st of March for March, but their support is pathetic and you feel like you talking to AI. Some of the agents put the phone down on you as well. I am very unhappy with the poor service and even poorer excuses and lack of urgency Rain has shown me, my daughter forfeited her online lessons which cost me a small fortune each month. When I joined up December 2023, I had a agent phone me within minutes, if I had known I was going to be messed around I wouldn't of. Even canceling now, after my March payment came off isn't a option right now. I would like a proper technician to come.e to my home, with a router to replace or fix this issue! I do not want to waste my money on another ?AI support agent, that's getting me nowhere.
