This is bad guys I wouldn’t advise anyone to take chose medshield medical aid. Their service is extremely poor. It’s 16:00 pm now I’ve been waiting a call from claims manager regarding the error made by their agent no call but it was promised that he will call me at 12:00 pm. I spoke to Karabo this morning whom advise me my complaint is escalated to manager Sunjiph Manilal (claims manager) I also spoke to Karabo’s TL Reec who promised and this Manager will call me today before 1pm but no call. My appointment with my OB tomorrow depends on this call. Meaning I won’t be going tomorrow as heavily pregnant as I am with complications im not supposed to miss appointments especially now but it seems like I’m gonna miss one for tomorrow because of them. Should anything go wrong I want every one of them to be held accountable. This is bul**** honestly promise not kept to your clients who pay every month for such poor service. I’m going to escalate this further it won’t end here. If no one calls me before COB action will taken guy this is bad managers who can’t deliver. 0717791403 is my number nx
This is by far the most unreliable medical aid scheme. I’m so angry at this point. Trust them not to deliver!! December I went to casualty was accessed by medical professionals they claimed from my medical aid my Day to day benefit it wasn’t paid. Till this day. They will disappoint your shame I trust them on that one. I’m so hurt, yesterday I called them spoke to One mean rude agent his name is Sheldon pepping he was so unbothered and unprofessional on the call when I told him he was rude he didn’t even care to apologize he transferred me to his manager/ supervisor whom was not of great assistance we spend an hour on the phone she couldn’t answer my questions instead told me about her network cable is disconnected she’s struggling to see information on the system. My question to her was very simple. I asked her why they didn’t pay the Dr who assessed me at casualty on the 24th of December 2024, the closing statement by the 31 December 2024 was showing an outstanding balance of R1240 on my day to day benefits but the Dr was not paid why???? She couldn’t answer me !!!!!! I need this sorted asap !! I’m going to escalate this even further trust me.
Yoooooh I’m so defeated. As I write this I’m heartbroken, disappointed, in pain, and mentally frustrate. I came to the hospital Sunday evening, my ankle was sore couldn’t walk due to injury. I was seen by a casualty Dr who instructed X-rays, he confirmed everything is fine I can go back home and come back after 5 days for a check up. They put on a slap on my sore ankle and covered it with a bandage. The following day which was Monday I started feeling this excruciating pain on my sore ankle, the pain got worse and worse and to my surprise I was expecting to feel better since I had been seen by a medical Dr who confirmed everything is fine. Today Wednesday ( 3 days later) I was waken by a call from one of the Dr’s in Garden City hospital whom instructed me to come back to the hospital he said he relooked at my Xray and saw my ankle is broken there’s a fructure , I wasn’t surprised as I mentioned earlier the pain wasn’t getting better. I was frustrated to hear this after 3 days . Like why was I **** to? How come did the initial Dr didn’t pick up the broken bone? How did he discharge me knowing his risking me to lose my foot ? I went back to the hospital and arrived there at 12:25 pm today. The Bones Specialist came to see me and he was not impressed with the swelling and how bad the fracture looked he then advised I should be admitted. All of this was confirmed around 13:00 pm… I was in causality till 20:00pm … the sister that was responsible for me said they are looking for the bed… they only for the administrator to come at my cubicle at 17: 30 to tell me the authorisation from medical aid is still pending so they can’t admit me or I’ll have to signed the consent or agreement that should the medical aid not pay for my hospital stay ill be liable for the payment. Tell me why was authorisation requested at 16:30 knowing very well medical aid offices closes at 17:00. I mean admission was confirmed by the Dr at 13:00pm when I asked the admin this question he became so agitated with me and very rude. I had to leave the hospital and go back home again with a painful swollen foot. I don’t know what’s gonna happen next will they end up saying my foot need to be amputated? At this point I feel like public hospitals would’ve done me justice if I went there than wasting my money time with these stupid private hospitals. They are very negligent and I’m going to take this further should they want to bill me again for their mistake. I’m so annoyed and in pain if I die from this excruciating pain I want the world to know how bad your service is !!!!!
I want the world to know how of your poor pooorest service. I was in casualty today at Garden city hospital when the Dr advised I need to be admitted since my ankle is broken and my foot is extremely swollen, no pain killer is helping with this pain. Admission was confirmed by the treating Dr at 13:00 pm we waited for authorisation till till 17:30 nothing from your side I had to leave the hospital and go back home with this excruciating pain because of your poor service. Couldn’t risk admitting myself without auth only to find out you guys won’t settle my hospital bills. I’m not even proud to tell my mates I’m using Medshield, what an embarrassment and disappointment. Tell me why hospital authorisation helpline isn’t operating 24/7 ? What happens when one find the them in a situation that would need them to be under Intensive care? Do we have to wait till the sun rise for you guys to authorise? I’m typing this in pain both physically and emotionally. If I die just know you guys played your part in my death.
Mtn just went to my account and took my money without my consent. I never agreed to them debiting me. Who gave you the permission to do that? You don't have respect for people's money!!! I wanted that money back into my account before sunrise!!!!!
I had a bad bad experience with this the useless ****mers. I just ordered Nandos now I was waiting for the food by the gate. I tried contacting the delivery guy sent them lots of messages they blueticked me never responded. I then got a message saying my food was delivered in the street far from my location... I went out at night looking for my delivery nothing found. My R250 gone!!!!! I will make sure you guys pay this I won't let it slide like that!!! The delivery person is a crock he has a profile picture of a lady but the picture with my parcel is a man. His name is Gine. I want my refund and I'll not rest till I get it. If they couldn't reach me as they say a lie even! Why not return food to the shop ??? Who did they deliver to? Cos I'm the only person who has the code? You'll pay I tell you!!! I'll make sure
You didn't pay for my blood tests. You are telling me about codes for pathology You don't pay for. Worse part I have saving why not take from my saving and settle the fees? This is unacceptable I'm your client start treating me like one maan I pay every month's. But this is what I get when I'm sick and in my dying bed? You need to come through for me and settle that bill with lancet.
I ordered qouter chicken, chips and roll via uber eats. When I opened my food it was breast and small burned wing. I've never been so ****ed and disappointed in my life. Just because I ordered online I don't deserves proper meal? This is bad. Please replace my money cos I can't eat this rellace my money is do the right thing. This is ridiculous 🤯😡😡😡😡
