FNB very disappointing!!!!!!! I wish to express my dissatisfaction with the feedback I received from FNB regarding the drafting of a Power of Attorney for my banking affairs. The enquiry was made on the recommendation of my Wealth Fiduciary Adviser, since a general Power of Attorney is not valid or accepted by banks should someone need to attend to my banking affairs in the event of serious illness or temporary incapacity. My request was straightforward: I wanted to appoint a trusted representative who could manage my banking matters on my behalf in the event of disability or illness. After numerous phone calls and visits to the bank, the consultants did not understand what a Power of Attorney is, and secondly, I was referred to various departments, after which the legal department informed me that I am required to take out legal insurance to have such a document drafted. This requirement is both unreasonable and unacceptable. A Power of Attorney is a standard legal instrument that enables a customer to safeguard their financial and personal interests. It should not be conditional on purchasing additional products or services from the bank. I want to know : Why FNB insists that customers take out legal insurance before being assisted with a Power of Attorney. What is proper process to follow to have a Power of Attorney (bank approved) recognised and recorded for my accounts without being forced to purchase unrelated products.
Today I bought clothes at Queenspark, Woodlands. The transaction went through on my bank account, but dis not regiser on their system. They reported it to IT and I am waiting now for more than an hour. They are not very helpful, with no urgency to get the matter solved
I own property in a Nature Reserve that was temporarily closed to visitors due to disastrous fires and water and electricity infrastructure damage. I sent Booking.com emails to inform them about the situation and to ask them to cancel the relevant bookings because I did not have guests' contact details. (which I also requested, but to no avail). I phoned them numerous times and asked them to assist me with the cancellation, and the only response that I got every time after my call was an e-mail stating that I must communicate via the online platform - which I did numerous times. Booking.com is the worst platform for guest house owners - poor assistance, poor communication, and no protection for the owner of an establishment. Call center agents - if you can get hold of them are clueless!
I am very disappointed in Capitec's client service. They phoned me requesting information regarding my late father's estate. I could not provide relevant info then, and we scheduled a suitable time for them to call again. They have not phoned four days later and I cannot get hold of them. The phone keeps ringing, and client services cannot transfer me to them. Urgent matters need to be resolved but Capitec's employees are non-existent!!!!!!!!!!!
I feel guilty just to award one star to this company. In 2015 I signed up for the service on behalf of my elderly parents. Initially, I was very impressed with what they had to offer. This lasted only until my parents relocated to the Johannesburg area. At first, we wanted to cancel the contract and were informed that we could get a refund for the instrument - not much, considering that we paid R8000 and we only had the instrument for 3/4 years. We decided to extend the contract and then our problems started. We struggled to get the company to re-install and connect the device. Then we struggled to receive assistance with technical problems regarding communication signals. When Telkom decided to replace landlines with wireless telephone service, it was a new war again. It took months to get them to reconnect and we had to pay a lot of money to upgrade the system and make it compatible with the new Telkom system. Now, after another 3 years, of which, for most of the time we did not have any signal and for the past month we tested the system numerous times, and to date, no one has responded to our emergency calls, we want to cancel the contract because my parents are relocating to an old age home. On 1 April I send emails, giving a month's notice. On 18 April I have not received any feedback. For a week I tried to phone the company - no answer. After a week I finally got to talk to someone - only to be told that the contract will be canceled as requested, but we would not be refunded for the device, since their policy has changed and they would appreciate it if we could donate the instrument to the needy! What a cheek - we have paid our monthly premiums diligently - even though there were many times that we did not have any reception, no after-sales service, or any response on emergency calls. And they want to donate my needy, poor parents' instrument to the needy. If ever there was a money-making scheme, this is it!
I received a booking enquiry on Friday 15 October. The guest accepted the quote and paid a deposit. However, the booking was not automatically confirmed as usual and the guest and I sent various emails to SN attaching the proof of payment. There is no way that you can phone them to sort out the problem and they take ages if at all, to respond to e-mails. This is very frustrating because I cannot finalise the booking and the guest does not know if her payment was received.
As the owner of an establishment I am dealing with guests and have to provide them with accurate invoices. I have been struggling to get hold of a Safarinow consultant for 2 weeks now.one cannot phone them and although they say they respond to emails within one day, I am waiting now almost 2 weeks to get a response. In the meantime I cannot provide my guest with an invoice, since we have queries regarding Safarinow's calculations .

i want to thank the Removals and Storage For Africa team and owners for the excellent service we received. Their transport and packing team were on time and efficient. Each member knew exactly what to do. Our furniture were in storage for 6 months and were transported to Pretoria recently. Once again they arrived on time, and were very helpful and friendly. Thank you Debbie for your assistance and professional service. Not only do you render an excellent removal and storage service, but you prices are reasonable and affordable. I will definitely recommend Storage for Africa!!!
