Shocking service and despite confirming they owed us the money for over 18 months we have been waiting for the money back. The new FD Lisa Pillay promised to refund the money and since confirming this to be done had ignored all communication. The company is an embarrassment and filled with *********** and dishonest people.
The most *********** accounts department experience to date. Debit order on incorrect dates for values not authorized and when queried on at least 25 calls and emails to date are told that there are no mangers availble to take your call.
Despite paying municipal accounts on their platform on or before the 17th of the month they keep applying final notice changes. The accounts are only due on the 20th and have cleared my bank account before then. The level of incompetence by the accounts department of Ekhuruleni is pathetically poor
After 5 vat applications online and 1 in branch the level of incompetence is perplexing. Turnover have exceeded 9Millon rand and we have provided more than 30 supporting documents some in excess of 43 page per document proving we are obliged to register for Vat. They have called and verified as required and said registration would follow. And within 3 days of each a mail to say we failed to take the call and vat registration could not be completed. We were sent to the Edenvale branch and have waited outside for 2h47min so far for the manager to assist. But nothing. Compliance has become impossible! Sars service is pathetic unless the need to collect money then suddenly they are competent.
I have tried for a month to get a response from ABSA to cancel my home owners insurance with them.. I have had two policies covering the same propert for over a year. I have given proof to ABSA the same ABSA that failed to reply to the damage claim for 9 weeks at the beginning of this year and then responded after I came on Helllo Peter and declined the claim due to the fact after the worst storm in 70 years that damage was due to poor maintenance. This appears to be ABSAs way.
Absa Bank Insure my property but after a storm on the 6th of January 2024 where there was signifcant damage caused by the storm and hail. They sent out Assessors who confirmed the damage. Stated the home had been very well maintained and that i would hear back within a week. I have called Absa many times and have been put on hold and after a month was told they are still waiting on a report and so on. I have had not 1 reply to any mail ive sent and many have been sent. I believe many people suffer the same fate of an *********** and inept organisation that im sorry to have moved my bond to.
