I am still waiting for the voice recording after concluding the policy uptake with Santam.
Can't believe Santam is so dishonest with the public. 2 years down the line I only discovered it.
Re: Policy 54500627330 Santam increased my premium by 17.5% without any notification. Inflation for 2025 was only 3.2%. I didn't have any claims for 2025. If there was any notification like reputable firms do, I could investigate to get a better premium somewhere else. People check your bank statements.
Beware of Vodacom downgrading your fiber package. Even after reporting them on Hello Peter, there was no feedback. Also, the inconsistent line speed over the last 3 years hasn't been addressed. There are many better fiber providers with better packages than Vodacom.
Upgraded my fibreline speed to 50/50 Mbps, only to have it downgraded again by Vodacom, without decreasing my payment. Mailed Vodacom but got no reply. Also the linespeed is very erratic. On my invoice it shows that they supp**** a Huawei HG 659 router which I didn't get. Still using my Nokia router for the last 6 years. Vodacom customers check your line speed on Google, its very easy.
Beware Clicks dispenses medication without your approval, against your medcal aid. Happened 5 times this year allready.
My wife acquiried a funeral policy for her mother from Capitec in October 2023. She passed away in December 2023. Because the policy wasn't 6 months old she couln't claim. Therefore she emailed them them on the 28 December 2023 to cancel the policy. They still kept on subtracting the payment every month, and it's a endless struckle to get a refund. Also no support from their staff.

Received mails from Therasa Munford, Mark Bullock, Kate Boggis, Mark Houghton,and David Lee, requesting to load my id proof and of address on the website. NEEDLESS TO SAY THEY ALL CAME FROM A NO REPLY EMAIL ADDRESS. WHY ARE YOU SCARED TO SUPPLY A RETURNING EMAIL ADDRESS. Done that several times but you don't get confirmation if it was successful or not. In the last 3 weeks also posted the documents twice to address given. Why can't anybody pick-up a phone and phone me.
My most embarrassing day of my life, when Momentum Money declined my transaction on my savings card at P&P till. They debited my account twice, but still it showed that the transaction declined. Tried phoning, and after holding on for a very long time the assistant could help me. He suggested that I transfer more money into my card, which I didn't do knowing that Momentum would also mess that up. Send a mail to Momentum this morning, and still waiting for a reply. And still R1,500.00 poorer because the money is not yet back in my account. Is this the way Momentum treats their clients?
