I placed an item on the weekend auction from 2024-04-12 to 2024-04-14 at 23:45. One buyer placed a bid on the item on 2024-04-14 at about 11:34. The auction closed and he was the winning bidder. At the time it showed that he had 100% positive ratings. I however could not access his ratings. I sent him an email on 2024-04-15 in the morning and stated that I can only arrange with BOB shop to send a courier to collect the item as soon as confirms the order and when payment is received by me. He did not respond. I sent another email on 2024-04-15 in the evening. Still did not receive a response. I then noticed on 2024-04-16 in the morning that the buyer also bid on another item on from another seller and won it at the same time as me. He paid that seller immediately. I phoned Bob shop on 2024-04-16 at 07:30. I explained to the customer service agent lady that this buyer shows as a buyer with 100% ratings, but according to their website his got 8 negative and 1 neutral rating for non payment of items that he won on auctions. She stated that if a buyer does not receive any negative ratings in a one year period, then they will give him or her another chance. Bob shop is not transparent. The lady then phoned the buyer. He stated that he did not read the description on my item and only bid on it. He stated that he is refusing to pay for it. The customer services lady at Bob shop then told me anybody can make a mistake and I must accept it as such. That is however unacceptable. She got furious with me. I requested to speak to her Supervisor. I explained to him. He told me the same story. So it basically means that the seller is always wrong and the buyer can do whatever they want. I have been on bidorbuy since 2008. Sorry to say Bob shop is not the Bidorbuy I joint years ago. I will be deleting my account shortly. I do have 548 positive ratings, 0 neutral and 0 negative ratings. Meanwhile the buyer who is refusing to pay does have 25 positive, 8 negative for non payment and 1 neutral for non payment.
I owned a Russel Hobbs Barista one coffee machine that I bought about 5 years ago. We moved a few times in the last few years and lost a few parts. I contacted the import and parts agents Home of Living Brands during December 2023. I got in touch with a lady with the name Vhutshilo. She did her outmost best to source the items for me for the model RHCM46. She confirmed with the technicians that all the parts are correct and the replacement parts were cheap. When I received the parts, I noticed that the milk frother tank cover is incorrect. I contacted Vhutshilo and she stated she will come back to me. She phoned me back and confirmed that this model is discontinued and requested if I can courier my machine to them for assesment. I couriered it to them in early January 2024. A lady with the name Laurian Kekana responded on 2024-01-24. She stated that they cannot get the tank cover that I lost due to the fact that the machine is discontinued. They then send me a brand new machine RHCM47 at no cost to me. This is the machine that replaced the discontinued machine. They had no obligation to do so. This is what I call exceptional customer services from Home of Living Brands company. The service given by Vhutshilo and Laurian was exceptional. This is the best service I received in years. Thanks. I phoned Santam on 2023-02-17 at about 10:15. I wanted to remove one vehicle and add another vehicle to my existing policy with Santam. A very polite consultant with the name Mariam Petersen answered the phone. She assisted me promptly and knew exactly what I needed. She even noticed that my address was not 100% correct on the system and rectified it promptly. Within minutes the old vehicle was removed and the new vehicle was added. That is what I call proffesional service. That is the reason why I am insured with Santam because of people like Mariam Petersen. Thank you for your excellent 5 star service. It is highly appreciated.
I recently sold my 2015 Toyota Etios Cross to webuycars on 2023-09-15. They inspected my vehicle, made an immediate payment and took the vehicle. What a smooth transaction. Then the problems started. My reference number received from webuycars was LWI130333. They informed me on 2023-10-04 that the vehicle was registered on webuycars on Natis. They however never removed my number plates and kept driving the vehicle with my number plates and disk. That is *****. I then received an etoll account with transactions that took place from 2023-10-09 to 2023-10-13. I received the account on 2023-10-14 via email. I phoned the agent from webuycars who bought the vehicle from me. he did not answer his phone. I then sent a Whatsapp message to him. He responded that his manager will phone me shortly. I was phoned by the said manager and he stated that they did the transfer of ownership of the vehicle on Natis on 2023-09-30. He also stated that they already sold the vehicle on 2023-10-11. I then requested why is my number plates and disk still on the vehicle. He stated that they are allowed to do that untill the vehicle is registered on the new owners name. I explained to him that is a lie. I told him that the vehicle is *******ly on the road with false number plates since the number plates and disk is not valid anymore. I further explained to him that they should have issued a permit to the new owner and should have removed my number plate. i further explained to the manager that webuycars commited *****. He then stated that he will arrange for the number plates to be removed immediately. On 19th October I realized he did not give me feedback as promised. I phoned him again. I enquired if the number plates were removed. He then stated that he forgot about that, but will follow up immediately. I also explained to him that the etoll balance of R 219.54 is still not paid as promised by him on the 14th October. He requested me to forward a copy of the transactions and the statement via Whatsapp. I forwarded it immediately. On 2023-11-06 I received another etoll account via email. It was still not paid. I tried to phone the said manager 3 times at about 20:30. He did not answer his phone. I then send a Whatsapp to him enquiring why is it not paid yet. He rep**** via Whatsapp that Webuycars are not liable for the transactions although they were in possession of the vehicle. and yes the vehicle was registered on webuycars on Natis on 2023-09-30. They used my number plates after this date. it was then false number plates that should have been removed immediately. They sold the vehicle to the new owner with my number plates and disk which was no false number plates. When the manager responded to my Whatsapp message, he stated they did follow all the correct policies of webuycars and I am liable for these etoll transactions. They committed ***** and now they want me to pay for these transactions. I believe in honesty and integrity. That is the way how I was raised. They committed ***** and now they want me to pay for the etoll transactions that was done whilst they were the owner of the vehicle and by the new owner since they left my number plates on the vehicle when it was sold to the new owner. All I can say. Webuycars is dishonest and have no integrity. I am going to take this matter further and I will be taking up the matter with the CEO of Webuycars and the Ombudsman. You must also remember. Something is either right or wrong. There is no grey area.
Do not buy from this dishonest company. They sold a broken part part to me and are not willing to replace it. Rather buy elsewhere and save yourself a headache. They do not believe in customer services and is only in it for the money.
I have been banking with Capitec Bank for a few years. On the 3rd of January an unauthorised payment did go off on my bank account and I notified the Capitec immediately. They refused to reverse the transaction and stated that the will investigate the matter. I explained to them that I did not authorise it and the company is somewhere in Australia. Its called picksafe. On 20220203 another transaction went through for the same amount and company. That is exactly one month later. I phoned the fraud Department again on 20220203. This time the agent stated that she can see there is an ongoing investigation, but it is not finalized yet. How is it possible that it did not receive any attention for a full month. How is it possible that they alliwed another transaction to go through. Its clear that there is information leaked out by Cspitec bank to third parties who is deducting unauthorised payments from us. This is not an isolated incident. There is 100's maybe 1099's of customers who is having the same problems. I will close both my accounts tomorrow, since it is clear .that Capitec bank is incompetent to deal with the customer accounts. You should actually be ashamed of your poor service. I will be transferring my accounts to Nedbank. I am fed up with your incompotence.Capitec is a useless company and do not have any customer relations. Grow up. Its clear that you have a mole in Capitec who is leaking our information out to these frudelent companies . Grow up..
