Experience with Discovery bank and Insure has been an absolute nightmare. Waste of time, frustrating, passed down from agent to agent, terrible communication between agents and institutions, no follow through with what is said on phone calls, adds additional stress when having just signed up to Discovery Insurance... A few years ago, I attempted to sign up for Discovery Bank and never completed the process. Was unaware that someone on their side had created a profile, even though I never actually opened a bank account or signed up online. They got me email address wrong and I have since changed my number. I cannot log in or register because my ID number is tied to that incorrect profile. I am completely locked out. I’ve been passed from one agent to another between Discovery Bank and Insurance, with multiple case numbers and still no resolution. I’ve wasted hours of my workday trying to fix a problem that was caused entirely by Discovery. To make things worse, I keep receiving automated emails telling me to complete my vehicle inspection, something I physically cannot do without access to the app. Even after explaining this repeatedly, I receive useless, copy-paste responses that completely ignore the issue. It is honestly shocking that a company of this size cannot resolve something as simple as fixing or deleting a profile. The lack of communication and accountability is unacceptable. This has completely destroyed my confidence in Discovery. If they can’t handle something this basic, I have serious concerns about what would happen if I ever needed to claim.
