Flavia was very friendly and knowledgeable- it was an absolute pleasure dealing with her
I would never ever deal with this company again Very friendly up to the moment they collected my possessions. Additional invoice had to be settled due to apparently more than quoted - I would have preferred to be informed about possible higher costs before they took my goods away. Then months pass because they are 'waiting to fill up their container'. Ok, not a problem. But then suddenly an additional invoice of +/- 25% because of 'exchange rate fluctuations'. Yes, there was some up and down ZAR/EUR but not to that extend and frankly, this should not be the client’s problem but be sorted out between their partners overseas and them. I complaint and suddenly got a much lower invoice, again due to exchange rate fluctuations (first R10000, then R2000). I stand corrected but dealing with Foreign Currency in South Africa requires SARB permit. Statement by CEO: “exchange rates are non negotiable” - Does not make sense, they adjust them at a rate only they seem to understand. Considering legal action, I tried to find out details eg address and ownership - by law all SA companies are required to publish a PAIA manual on their website. I could not find one (as per 15/6/2023). Requests for it or details where legal documents can be served are ignored. CEO then even makes fun of ‘childish behaviour’ and claims that answering my requests has cost him workforce of R2000 I also requested T/C’s of the insurance I paid for … not even an answer. They refuse to release my possessions until I paid - them being entitled to it or not. I just paid the additional invoice, my child was waiting for its books and belongings. Be aware when dealing with this company. It could run smooth (I saw some 5 star reviews) but it could also go South - I saw quite some reviews mentioning the exact game they played with me.

well, rather not so good service I ordered a R1439.95 Glenfiddich 15 years old gift box incl 2 glasses and one Lindt chocolate today for a business partner - all was paid and confirmed. One hour later a lady from call center calls informing that they cannot send 15 year old but only 2 year old Glenfiddich. OK with me, when I however asked about the price difference I was told that they 'will add two glasses and a Lindt chocolate which makes up the difference' I then asked her why the Glenfiddich 12 year old gift box incl 2 glasses and one Lindt chocolate is advertised for R965 ... which would still leave a difference of +/- R400 ... she then asked 'what is your suggestion?' .... then the call dropped. I went online to chat to someone ... they confirmed that all will be delivered. To double check, I called ... just to hear that there is still a problem. Then I was told that they will go and get a 15 year old one .. then I got an email confirming that 'delivery of Glenfiddich 15 Year Gift Box will be delivered today.'... well, nothing was delivered. So my advice: if you rely on a professional service and in this case, same day delivery - do not trust their promises. What is also shocking to me is the blatant attempt to ... well, trick a client into accepting a loss of R400 by well, lying
I booked two tickets with them, paid and looked forward to a nice holiday in the Seychelles. However, they cancelled the tickets the very next days and since then delaying either a refund or even a rerouting (I am prepared to pay extra costs) - they actually take the money and well, lean back
Be careful when you tick the box ‘sign up’ on Facebook —— this will result in u entering into a contract - its not just an enquiry button. They ask you all your details and somewhere on the line you tick a box and suddenly you signed up for at least 12 months. Basically they trick you this way into a 12 month contract Doing business in Covid days! Shame on you MWEB
Long story short ... They gave payment relief in 2020, in September 2020 they suddenly called demanding 5 months outstanding. Rude, seriously extremely rude communication via calls and emails, contradicting themselves a few times. I handed matter over to ombudsman - when the ombudsman requested statement from Wesbank they informed Ombudsman 'that matter has been resolved' - when in fact this is not true. I can only advice to stay away from Wesbank. They will now immediately respond to this posting just to do nothing afterwards at all.
