Absolutely poor service. I went to purchase three items yesterday, I was rudely told that they are a "purely online store". Despite the fact that I have made several walk in purchases over the past four months. (All on my card, and yes I have receipts too). The clerk refused to assist me as I did not order online. He sent the "manage" named Cindy. She was worse than the clerk. She even told me that she did not have time for this. Meaning I drove there, only to be refused service and at NO point was I advised that this was purely for online purchases. She may not be aware that my phone records all activity. I watched that interaction last evening and was totally disgusted all over again. Dont support these "don't care" and poor attitude only there to rip you off suppliers. There are other professional and reputable suppliers in Durban. Never , Ever again will I drive 30kms to this store. If I were you, read the other reviews, nope not the ones written by Cindy and the owners family. Those just cannot be true. Video will be available on youtube.
I bought tiles on Friday, 07th June 2019 at the Chatsworth branch. I noticed that the tiles were not in their original packaging during loading. I asked about the tiles being dirty and was told that they were stored in the open yard. Nonetheless Joshua the sales assistant was helpful during the sales process of the first grade tiles. The experience turned horrible the moment I had to deal with an abnoxious, arrogant and rude teller called Pam. I instructed the tiler to begin the tiling on Saturday, I told him we would clean the tiles after grouting. Two days after the grouting dried and the cleaning began, I noticed white blemishes throughout all the tiles. I immediately checked the unused tiles in the box and found that this was not dust or dirt but defects. The flooring looked absolutely terrible with patchy white spots on all the tiles. I then drove to Ismails Tile centre and was rudely redirected to management at the Hardware store down the Sunset Avenue in Chatsworth. Their the owner (Cassim) sent an employee named Sanjay to inspect the tiles, he did and advised me that these tiles should not have been used, and it they could not do anything as they had been laid. I returned to Cassim and was told the same thing after receiving a run around, as he was busy in import meetings. I returned the next day on opening and approached Cassim again to resolve my complaint. He insisted that I count the defective tiles and check for replacement tiles at his warehouse. He limited this option to only 50% of the ten boxes that I had bought. Needless to say this fruitless exercise yielded only 4 goods tiles from 15 boxes opened and checked. I could not waste another few hours and told him to just refund me. He refused and after much argument he acceded to refund me for 5 of the 10 boxes. I took this refund in a hurry as I had to get back to work. The refund process was handled by Pam, another extremely poor service experience. She told me I was lucky to get a refund and I got the impression she was doing me a favour. She said that this was the first such complaint about the tiles I had purchased and that theses porcelain tiles were damaged by the tiler. I asked her to explain how my tiler came to their warehouse and damaged all their tiles still in boxes. She then replied "I just work here". Never again, Never Ever will I buy from these fraudulent and unethical business operators. Do yourself a huge favour and support a reputable company like Builders Warehhouse or CTM, you will thank me and get the quality that you pay for.
<p>On the 23d January 2016, I signed an offer to purchase through Pam Golding Montclair. This was only done after I thoroughly questioned the agent regarding the compliance, municipal and entomology status.</p> <p>I was given the response that "you are dealing with Pam Golding, and everything is 110% in order.</p> <p>Elevn months later the property cannot be registered as the municipality has not approved the plans due to major variances, eg. exceed the general land area, no dept of roads approval for walls, electricty non compliance and several other irregularities. I enquired from FNB how they approved the bond without a proper valuation. They cannot provide any details up to now ? </p> <p>Upon receipt of the offer to purchase copy three months later, I noted changes to the document not approved by us as the buyers. I spoke to Fay Hoosen who apologised and confirmed that she had confirmed with her agent and that he (1) had not confirmed to us the amendments to the offer to purchase. She also confirmedand that we had enquired regarding the municipal status, which her agent (2)confirmed to us that all was in order. Both 1 & 2 are recorded conversations and is available .</p> <p> </p> <p>I have questioned FNB regarding their ccomplacence in this matter, they simply withdrew the bond.</p> <p>Now I sit with a claim from Pam Golding Montclair for commision, as the purchaser ?</p> <p> </p> <p>I have reported this matter to the estate agents board with little sense of urgency to finalise the investigation and take corrective action.</p>

No signal, dropped calls.</p> <p>Days without connectivity. Unprofessional uns****ed staff at their call centre 147.</p> <p>How can they help ? stop defrauding and scamming innocent citizens and any self respecting business.</p> <p>I have began losing money whilst they ported and after. I can prove this. </p> <p> </p>
