BHC in Durban is run by a lady called Brendy Ngcobo. Giving her a one star is being overly kind and only because there are no negative stars. The lack of professionalism started with delayed delivery of hair products that would take weeks to a month to arrive, at times she would forget what I ordered and have to ask again meanwhile I’ve beeeeen waiting for delivery for over 2 weeks now. The reason for my complaint is due to the fact that she ran off with my money in August of 2024. I ordered the 14” bob wig, paid an immediate EFT and she (on what’sapp) acknowledged she received my payment and order. 2 weeks later I follow up and she blue ticks me, the next day I call and get ignored and then I WhatsApp again and she finally answered and says she will post the product soon. This type of vague language continued another 2 weeks where I was constantly following up and she kept saying she is on her way to post that day. Somewhere in the 2nd month I asked to come to her offices to fetch the product and she refused claiming the business is only online now since Covid. The following week she once again said she apologises for the delay and said she will go post that day. I then asked her to cancel the order and just send me back my money since she hadn’t posted the product anyway. She ignored my message and my calls but blue ticked it. Into the 3rd month i then asked her kindly to please be ethical and consider my frustration as a customer that I just wanted my product and since she is having a problem delivering the product to please pay me back. After being ignored again I went to the bank and they requested an EFT reversal from her bank, her bank called her and told her that I made a case at the bank for the money to be returned and the response my bank received from her bank is that her accounts are empty and she cannot afford it. After ignoring my messages and not giving the money back, I told her the real truth is that lately I heard BHC is ****ming people and taking money, and everyone is talking about it. I wish I knew this before I placed my order but I am disgusted and disappointed in her. BHC has been a long standing company and Brendy has run it to the ground. I have been their client for a good 8 years (under old management) so this was very frustrating and sad, especially black run businesses that are run to the ground. We aim to support them as black people but we get played. All future clients need to run away !
I used ParkVia at king Shaka airport from 21 August to 4 September 2024. The administrator was called Diane and I was also helped by a Hayden Simon. Upon receiving my car on 4 September the boot would not open. The guy who brought the car back was the same one who picked the car up in 21 August, he stated that he delivered the car with a working boot. I called park via right there and then at the airport and said I can’t open my boot, the latch is broken. I also recorded trying to open the boot and sent the video. The administrator Diane kept saying she will look into it and she will get her boss to call me but nothing happened. Someone from the time of pick up to collection broke that latch and no one is taking accountability. I also informed them that my key had damage on the unlock button which it did not have before. This was very disappointing service from them especially because they haven’t even called me to found out how they can help. I still can’t unlock my boot till today and now I have to cough up the costs and fixing the boot.
My family had an awful experience with Netcare ambulances in Pietermaritzburg in 2023 August. My mother collapsed at home and my brother immediately called the ambulance, 20 minutes later they still hadn’t arrived and so I called Netcare to follow up, the consultant said they are still trying to locate our home. This back and forth went on for about 40 mins just going in circles with them, until ADT security called the Mi7 ambulance service. It was such an awful experience, we received very poor service from Netcare and it honestly felt like the ambulance service did not want to drive out to help us. After my mother was out of breath for so long by the time Mi7 was resuscitating her it was too late, they declared her and said she had passed on. It became the worst day of our lives as a family, and to think if Netcare had responded quickly as other ambulances have in our neighbourhood , my mother could be alive today.
