My story is very similar to the others on this forum. Bought their presidential set after being told that after 5 years I can sell my set. They assured me that they would be able to market these coins to their existing database or even buy the coin back themselves. It was basically a risk free investment right? Wrong... they are refusing to buy back these coins. I have made contact with Carte Blanche and I would like those who have had similar experiences to please comment on this post. The more evidence I can gather, the better the chances will be that something can be done. Lets stand together against these scam artists. We have all been fed the same lies. Its time to stop being victims and do something about it.
I dealt with Nicky previously at Shalin health and the level of service that she provided was unacceptable and unprofessional. I booked sessions with her yet when I showed up for my appointment, I was told that she had left for the day to view guest houses. (This after I called her that morning to confirm and made arrangements to leave work earlier) When she phoned me the next day, she told me that she had had a crisis with one of her children being sick, which of course was a lie as her staff told me where she really was. she used a sick child as an excuse for not delievering the service that was promised, and on top of that it was a lie which was designed to manipulate me. This did not sit well with me so I cancelled my sessions with her and requested a refund, wich I am still waiting for 8 months later. When I phone her, she simply puts the phone down in my ear. Shalin has closed down in the interim and she has now opened a new spa, Vintage Rose Salon and Spa. I would just like to share this experience with others so that they do not fall victem to her charms as I did. I would steer clear of her all together.
I paid for a 10 session deal and on my 3rd session when I arrived for my appointment I was told Nicky (the owner of Shalin) left early to look at a property that she wants to buy. I phoned her to tell her that this is unacceptable as I left work early to be on time and she told me that she had a crisis with her child and needed to leave early. After I told her that she was lying as her staff told me she went to view a property, she told me to come and fetch my money and put down the phone. When I spoke to her again she told me to come and fetch my refund but when I got there, she point blank refused to give me the refund and told me that she never said that she was going to refund me. I told her that I didn't want to fight as I had just come out of surgery (my appendix burst) and she said oh, so that's the real reason that you want to cancel the appointments. No lady, it's because of your poor service and the fact that you lied straight to my face. She then took my banking details and said she would pay it in over the next 2 days. This was at the end of February and I am still waiting. She does not return any of my calls and does has not bothered to give me a refund or explanation.
I received a quote from Alutrellis and was told that once I pay the deposit, installation will take place within 7 - 10 days. Well, the deposit was paid on the 8th of July 2015 and to date I am still awaiting installation. After the 10 day period I was still not contacted and had to constantly follow up with Diane to find out when installation will be taking place. She finally assured me that it would be done on the 27th of July (almost 3 weeks later) at 1pm. Needless to say, 1pm came and 1pm went and they were a no show. I followed up again only to be told that the gate had apparently been ordered in the wrong colour (idiots) and I will have to wait. AGAIN! (this after I told her that I am bringing a baby home on the 28th of July and she had assured me that installation would take place before then) I have again attempted to contact her again to try and finalise when the installation will take place but they have not gotten back to me at all. They do not follow up, do not keep in contact with the customer, do not provide feedback etc, they just take your money and basically disappear. I paid about an R11 000 deposit, I WOULD LIKE A REFUND AS THEIR SERVICE IS APPALLING!
