Over the past few years, I've dealt with Helga Clemo from Seeff Century City a number of times, considering some of her listings. I've always been very impressed with her friendly, professional assistance. And unlike most people who earn commission, she doesn't just push sales and rentals to earn money, she genuinely cares about clients and gives honest guidance, and is transparent and fair. When I recently had a terrible experience buying property through one of these low commission outfits, I reached out to Helga because the other agent dealing with my sale was simply unable or unwilling to provide me assistance with the most basic details or support. Helga and her team are brilliant. In spite of the fact that it was not her sale and she was not earning a cent commission on the matter, she went out of her way to assist me on a number of challenges and questions that I was experiencing. I've since handed over this property to her and her team and they are also amazing as rental agents. I've received such amazing support and professional guidance, preparing the property for rental, including recommending amazing contractors who completed top notch renovations ahead of schedule, within budget. I couldn't be happier. I was presented with a list of prospective tenants, properly vetted and checked and the one that I've chosen is a dream tenant. Buying and letting property can be a nightmare, but it doesn't have to be if you choose the best estate agent - thank you so much for all your support, Helga and Werner from Seeff Century City. After a very frustrating few months, trying to get my bond application with FNB sorted, I reached out to Riccardo Roodt and he sorted it out within 2 days. I was so frustrated with poor service from other FNB staff and was about to give up, planning to move all my business to another bank but Riccardo saved the day. I've been hoping for many years to do the steam train trip from Cape Town to the Elgin Railway Market. Finally booked my trip for September and started counting down the days, all excited. Unfortunately, the trip for that specific date had to be cancelled due to the recent storms that have hit the Western Cape. Quite understandable and one is grateful that Ceres Rail Company places safety above profit. However, what is even more remarkable is the efficient way in which they communicated the cancellation, gave me options to reschedule or request a refund, and when I selected the refund option it was processed the very same day. I'm so used to other companies taking their time with refunds and delaying payments, so it's quite refreshing to deal with an organisation that understands how to treat their customers right. I will definitely book a trip again as soon as possible and recommend Ceres Rail Company based on the excellent customer service received so far. Thank you and keep up the good work!
