I would give Discovery Bank a higher rating if they attended to matters timely instead of me having to resort to giving them a negative review for my complaints to be attended to. I referred my husband more than two months ago. He opened an account and transacted within a week using his virtual card. Neither my husband nor I have received our referral fee. When I called Discovery to ask, they said they will look into it and cannot tell me what the turnaround time for this will be. I don't understand what is taking forever with this and I am once again being disappointed by the service I am receiving from Discovery Bank.
Horrible bank, I would NOT recommend them at all. Their private client tier is a joke. What private banker? I've been emailing my private banker since the beginning of August and she is plain ignoring my texts. I am currently in the process of moving my debit orders to Discovery and closing this joke of a bank.
I am really impressed by the customer service I received from Samuel Moreroa. From the very first phone call, the constant email updates and making sure he kept me updated every step of the way. Nedbank continues to be a disappointment, always reminding me that I made the best decision switching to Discovery as my primary bank but Samuel is the rose amongst thorns. Great work Samuel, its only a pity you work for such a horrible bank, but that is not a reflection on your level of customer service. Thank you!
Horrible customer experience. My clicks partner benefit shows activated on the profile but I have NEVER received any cashbacks. I had to call and ask for this and Discovery has been sending me from post to pillar for months on end. A few weeks ago they said they would send me a voucher, I still have not received any further correspondence or update. They told me to keep using Clicks and they will do a backdate and give me my miles - still nothing. Very disappointed in them and would NEVER recommend them to anyone. If I could rate them less than 1 star I would. Absolutely appalled.

They are absolutely the worst. If I wasn’t 9 months pregnant dealing with a lot already, I would move all my services to a different provider. My OBGYN claims get rejected because I have nothing left on my medical savings when it’s supposed to be a maternity benefit. I had to call to get this rectified and they are still doing it. I am still waiting for my Clicks cashback, they keep “escalating” and giving me different references, nothing gets done. I also had to call and query about my fuel cashback in order to get something. Don’t waste your time with Discovery, their service is absolutely ********** and disgusting!
I am so disappointed in Discovery. I have been with them for years now and I have all of their products. They have not been paying me for my clicks rewards under vitality since I joined. My clubcard is linked and everything. They keep saying they are waiting for clicks to send them the transactions. When I reached out to clicks, they sent me the transactions in a matter of days. Had I not picked this up they still would not have notified me. I've been waiting for months now and I keep being told that they are escalating the matter. Absolutely disgusting treatment and I am considering moving banks.
I am so upset and disappointed with my Discovery Vitality experience. They have been sending me from post to pillar since January. I linked my clicks card a while ago but I only realised this year that I never got cashback from Clicks since I linked my card. Discovery is not helping with this, the only feedback I get is that they are checking. I have the full discovery suite but I am really considering cancelling and going somewhere else because the customer service is really appalling.
I received really outstanding assistance from Justine Spilsbury! What an absolute rockstar and magician. If I was able to give this company 0 stars I would. They are absolutely horrible with useless customer service. I have been waiting for my refund for 5 years now. They don't respond to emails and when I call I am sent from post to pillar. What a **** of a company. Do yourself and favour and DO NOT rent a car with them. Absolutely pathetic!
