EAST RAND MALL BRANCH If you are thinking about going to John Dory's East Rand Mall for the sushi buffet, save your money and go literally anywhere else. Calling this a "buffet" is a flat-out ****. I sat there for over an hour and in that entire time, I was "served" a grand total of two pieces of sushi. Let that sink in. You pay for an all-you-can-eat experience, but they treat it like a hostage situation where the sushi is the ransom they refuse to pay. It’s a clear tactic: they ignore the buffet tables and move at a snail's pace. The service is non-existent, and the management clearly doesn't care that people are sitting with empty plates for 60+ minutes. It is dishonest to advertise a buffet that you have no intention of actually serving. I’m not paying to sit in a booth for an hour just to admire the decor. Absolute joke of an establishment. Avoid at all costs.
Probably the worst customer service I have ever come across, they double debit your account and refuse to allocat the funds towards your order. They have deactivated their phone lines to force you to send them an email(Which takes 5 DAYS to answer).
I attempted a limit increase on 14/04/2025. I then recieved an email with the acceptance letter and contract but the email advised that I need to send 3 months payslips to complete the application. "All documents will be linked to your account within 24 hours" I submitted the documents not longer than 15 minutes after receiving the email and after 3 phone calls there is still no clear answer from Standard Bank other than it has been allocated to an agent.
On 28/02/2025, Uber proceeded to take my money for an Order that they did not deliver. Their chatbot advised that refunds can take up to 10 BUSINESS DAYS. We are now on 17/03/2025, the next time I use your service, I want my food immediately but I will only pay in 10 BUSINESS DAYS. Refund my money UBER!!!
I ordered online and was advised that there may be some delays as the device was out of stock. On 12/03/2025 the order was handed to Skynet(WHY WOULD VODACOM USE THE MOST USELESS COURIER!!) Skynet would then call and let me know the address was incorrect, and I asked to change the delivery address. On 14/03/2025 there was still no word from Skynet, I then called them(20+ minutes on hold) and they advised that I need to call vodacom for them to authorize an address change which then took another 25+ minutes of being transferred around to different people. And today I am still waiting for the phone to be delivered with no movement on the Tracking Skynet and Vodacom what a horrible combination.
Day 1: Order #64785 We are now on 18 WORKING DAYS and my order is still not complete. I will give a 1 Star Review EVERY SINGLE DAY until I recieve my order.
It would be nice to give ZERO stars. My order was placed and paid for on the 02/12/2024 and was informed now(23/12/2024) that there are items missing from my order and it will not be ready for collection tomorrow(24/12/2024) but only on 31/12/2024. Change your lead times or up your game. Order was placed on 02/12/2024 but I was only notified that my order is in transit on 16/12/2024, that's 9 WORKING DAYS just to ship my order from your international Warehouse. We are now on 14 WORKING DAYS and if I actually recieved my order on 31/12/2024 it will be 18 WORKING DAYS. that I had to wait. Your lead times are inaccurate and your planning is horrible. I planned ahead to order my fiancé's gift to make sure I got the items before Christmas, but jokes on me. Now I need to rush into a busy mall tomorrow so that my Fiancé has a gift to open on Christmas. Itworkup you guys suck and I will NEVER use you again. To all my fellow consumers rather pay more and order from Wootware.
