I have been contacting support with regards to my issuing I am having with my recent upgrade, but seems everything just goes in circles and my problem has still not been resolved. I recently did a update on my contract. On my next billing date I received a unexpected amount that I now owe over R3000 towards my contract. This is excluding my monthly contract amount. I call in to query this amount and was told it is because I did a early upgrade, which I didn’t, I was within my time to do my upgrade. A couple days later I see this amount has been removed for off my billing information on my app. Again a couple days later it’s back on my billing details, so I call in and query this yet again. Now the story has changed that it’s a migration fee that is charged, which I was not told about. If I knew I’d be charged over R3000 just for a upgrade, then I would have just canceled my contract. I have never been charged such an amount by MTN before when I’ve done my upgrades. I log queries and then they just get ignored or closed. No one gets back to me with relevant information or even bothered to sort my problem out. I pay my contract religiously without fail. I have been a loyal customer to MTN for years now. My number has now been switched off and I am unable to use my phone. This is a work line and has now inconvenienced me in more ways than one. I feel it’s so disgusting the way my matter has been handled. I have a email for a department stating that this amount should not have been charged. I’ve been informed that the billing department needs to rectify this matter, however, as mentioned, my queries just get closed or ignored. I’ve had this problem before where a large amount was added onto my account because I was billed wrong, but it was sorted within a week. This time around, it’s been way over a month and still to today no one has helped me. I am livid with this situation and just need someone to assist or actually attend to this matter with great urgency.
I need to obtain my settlement letter through standard bank, which I have called and requested time and time again. The after service is actually shocking and never experienced such service from other providers. I would actually be surprised if I even get a reply out this review.
I have settled my debts a while back with MBD. I have made a number of phone calls and sent many emails requesting my settlement letter, and still up until today, no letter and not even a response. This is a urgent matter and the after service from MBD is now just shocking
The admin women which is the bosses daughter is so rude and never helpful. I have heard of this before but now have experienced it myself. Such a bad image on a franchise brand
Prescor 160 cc based in alberton, may or may not seem like a great team when they appear on site, but the truth is. . .they are full of empty promises, their staff are rude and they are full of lies. The company relies on insurance claims from outsurance mostly and how outsurance allows this as a contractor, i dont know. The owner allows his teams to ride in unworthy motor vehicles, unlicensed vehicles and has illegal immigrants without papers working for him. Who ever decides to accept them as a contractor, please do with caution as their first impressions arent as it seems
MTN just goes and shuts my phone off with no notification. I cannot call the 135 number, nor can i access the app. Im in a situation where i cannot go through to a branch to find out what the hell is going on. This is my business number that i ported from vodacom and this is the serivce i get now. All i asked is for them to contact me and sort this out as im stuck without a working phone, if i could access the app via wifi then that would help but even the app denies me access
This company may have well designed products but their service and delivery is shocking. There is no structure what so ever and they are full of empty promises. I would much rather go with anyone of their competitors. Anything that gets promised, just turns out to be lies all the time. Their work practice is unethical and sad. . .
