I am extremely dissatisfied with the service and billing practices of ShowMix. I am subscribed to a R50 monthly subscription, however, for several months now, my account has been debited twice every month — two separate charges of R50 for the same account. This means I am being overcharged R50 every month, without my consent or authorisation. This issue has been ongoing, and despite it being a basic billing error, it has not been corrected. A subscription should not be duplicated on one account, and customers should not have to constantly monitor their bank statements to catch repeated mistakes. This is unacceptable, *********, and extremely frustrating. I am now demanding the following: 1. Immediate investigation and correction of this billing error 2. Full refund of all overcharged amounts (all extra R50 deductions) 3. Written confirmation that my account will only be charged once per month going forward I trusted this service, but repeated overbilling has completely broken that trust. If this matter is not resolved urgently, I will have no choice but to escalate it further through my bank and consumer protection channels. I expect a prompt response and a proper resolution.
This company is definitely a huge ****! I placed an order on the 21st of February 2025 and by the 26th of February 2025 there was no sign or communication about delivery. In trying to phone the one and only number I could find, the number was out of order. I then sent an email to the email address I managed to find with MUCH difficulty, and NO RESPONSE. I sent daily emails and on the 28th of February an 'Abdullah' ask...
I have been trying to follow up on my refund for quite some time now. I have called multiple times and even sent emails, yet I have not received any response or assistance. Each time I call, I am repeatedly transferred between different departments—sometimes up to 10 times—without any resolution. This lack of communication and assistance is highly frustrating and unacceptable. I kindly request immediate action on my refund and a clear update on the progress.
I visited Visionworks the other day at Mall of Africa and was assisted by an employee who seemed too busy to help me properly. She was rushed, inattentive, and didn’t take the time to address my concerns. I left feeling like my visit was unimportant.
