The Dstv price lock system is useless. You get a reminder e-mail a month before your price lock contract expires but you can only renew the contract after the existing contract expires and paying a month full price and then renew your contract and get refunded. They just want to sell you new equipment and is not interested in retaining existing customers. Now my subscription goes up by R300 and then I get a discount next month. How are people supposed to budget if they do this!
Christo was very quick to respond when my gate motor seized up to come and replace the motor. Now that I need a report for an insurance claim, I get a lot of excuses and still no report.
Terrible service. I have been trying to sort out my claim for accidental damages for a week. They appoint laminated flooring contractors for a bathroom claim. Trying to get hold of the claims consultant is a joke.
Dis-Chem's online prescription service is a joke and never works. I want to use it to get medicine ready as I work far from my local pharmacy and cannot always get there before closing time. I loaded my script before 8 am on Tuesday 26 April 2022 for collection from President Square pharmacy ( in fact loaded twice). I arrived there at 18:30 to collect to find that nothing was packed. I tried to load it on the App the previous evening for collection and could not get a script loaded and a order confirmed. This is not the first time I have experienced issues with this service and often do not get repeats ready in time.
Very easy to load vehicle and received very good offers after the auction.
On the 26th of March I logged a request on the Absa Trust site for someone to contact me in order for me to register my deceased father's estate as Absa Trust was appointed as trustees as per his will. I receive a response by e-mail on the 29th of March to submit all the necessary documentation and information, which I did promptly. During April I received a call from Absa Trust to determine the value of the estate, when I indicated that the value would be below R250 000 they informed me that it would be faster for a family member to do it and that someone will phone me to discuss the process and supply me with the necessary paperwork to take over the function. To date I have not heard from them again. On the 4th of June I sent them a e-mail to contact me. On the 7th of June a mail was sent from the call centre to 2 employees to contact me and assist with my query. To date I have not heard back from any of the employees. Pathetic service from Absa.
Terrible service from Vox FTTH department. Requested a transfer of service from old home to new home. Was supposed to have gone active 18 November. Nothing happend. contacted the fibre provider and no order have been received from the company. I cannot complain about the service since I do not get any. Contacted the help desk no feedback. Tried to call the FTTH department phone just rings. I know there is restrictions with COVID but really just give some feedback!
DSTV's price lock consultants is totally unprofessional. Twice I tried to get a price lock activated on my account and both times all they manage to do is disconnect my services and then I have to struggle for hours to get this back with the customer care team. They promise to phone you back and never do. You have no way of contacting them and the only way to get their attention is if they think they can get new business when you send an sms!
