19 April 2020: Original Lease Agreement was signed Early May 2020: Miss Elrene Koch moved in early May 2020, in the midst of Lock Down. The unit was not painted, hooks were not removed. No in-person inspection was done by Just Property due to Lockdown 17 January 2022: Contract was renewed in January 2022 (effective date of renewal 01 May 2022) I got a job in Stellenbosch (01 April 2022) and due to fuel prices had to move closer 03 April 2022: Notice was given to First Property on the 03rd April 2022 that miss I will move out at the end of May 2022 Notice was given almost two months in advance Notice was given before Addendum Lease Agreement (Renewal) was effective (01 May 2022) First Quote for maintenance to the property was received 20 June 2022 It was argued that this is maintenance and that a proper inspection was not done in 2020 The unit was not freshly painted prior to me moving into the unit in May 2020 (due to COVID) The Quote was then reduced slightly (of which most of this is still considered maintenance) Inspection Comparison report clearly reflects photos that the Quote is maintenance and hooks and items on the Quote is on the ingoing inspection During April and May miss Elrene Koch has assisted all First Property Agents with clients viewing the unit and it was confirmed on 25 April 2022 that the unit was letted to a new tenant- thus, no financial loss was suffered by the Landlord by canceling the Agreement The refuse to give me a statement of the interest on the Deposit I am busy with Legal action against them and call anyone that has been affected by them withholding your deposit refund against Consumer Protection Act to contact me just.propertydeposit@gmail.com
So, Helderberg Rawsons charge you R 250 to do a credit check before you view a property (even before they give you a date that you can view, which cannot be discussed when it would be suitable for you). They will not accept your own credit report, you have to do it through them because this ensures their safety. "unfortunately, this has been a necessity to verify the clients that we take through, for the safety of the agents and the current tenants or owner of the property". This after they don't respond for 3 days, only have one property listed in your search criteria and have all your Bank Statements, Payslips, Proof of Residence and current reference of accredited Property Agent.
One star is generous! What pathetic service I have received from Wesbank. My car was written off in January and financed through Wesbank, so when getting my replacement vehicle it made sense to go through them again. Oh, how I wish I didn't. I got a quote from MFC that was 2% cheaper, Wesbank matched and then the regret kicked in. They delayed my private purchase by a week, purely because of bad service. Then when I followed up on registration (which was supposed to be within 21 days) they said I must contact the dealer - THERE IS NO DEALER IT IS A PRIVATE SALE! Eventually I received the documentation that I can get the license, but surprise - I am in Cape Town and they registered the vehicle in JHB which means I cannot transfer my personalized plates until I re-register my car in the Western Cape! Also, without consent they made my Debit Order Date the 24th of the month (Who has money in their account that day?) And after 4 weeks of submitting and emailing it is yet to be changed! Numerous complaints, no resolution and not one apology!
Following the write-off of my vehicle on the 7th January, I have requested a settlement figure from cancellations and emailed info. No response after two weeks. When I phoned I was promised I'll receive the settlement figure within an hour and several hours have passed. Cartrack has a similar product that will be in my replacement vehicle.
This is horrible! Guys, please DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. There is no matches, they refuse to cancel your account and keep taking money even when instructing them to cancel via email. They advise to cancel online but then there is an error than you cannot!! PLEASE FO NOT USE THEM!!
We paid our deposit in August 2014 for our September 2015 wedding. After the Photographer Chevonne started acting unreliable (rescheduling our engagement shoot 3 times, not pitching for appointments, falling pregnant, lying etc) we decided to cancel her service. As per her own contract, it states a 35% refund if cancelled 30days in advance... we made a special arrangement that she can pay us in 2 months and the first payment would have been end September. We still haven't received a cent and she is ignoring our messages and calls. This is unacceptable, people who want to be Wedding Photographers has a big responsibility and if they can't commit they shouldn't be playing with people's 'special days'. It is cowardly not to take calls, ridiculous not to make arrangements and not returning the deposit is borderline theft!!
