I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the consistent and troubling issues I have experienced with Nando’s over the past several months. As a loyal customer, I have encountered repeated problems with my orders, including missing items, incorrect orders, and substandard food quality. Despite using the Nando’s app for convenience, my orders often fail to print or are not fulfilled correctly. On multiple occasions, I have raised complaints with the store management, specifically with managers named Bandile and Ezy. Unfortunately, their response has been dismissive and disrespectful. Not only have I been banned from certain stores for lodging complaints, but I have also been threatened and denied proper support. Despite having proof of payment, I have been repeatedly let down by the lack of resolution and compensation. The issues have been particularly distressing during major holidays, such as Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve, where I was unable to enjoy my meal due to these repeated problems. The lack of accountability and empathy from Nando’s has greatly impacted my trust and loyalty as a customer. I urge helloPeter to look into this matter thoroughly and hold Nando’s accountable for their poor service and negligence. As a dedicated patron, it is disheartening to be treated this way, and I hope that by raising awareness, we can prevent similar experiences for others. Thank you for your attention to this serious matter. Sincerely, Eugene Roets 073 097 6019 eugeneroets1983@gmail.com
I recently visited McDonald's at Cavendish Square, and I have to say, it was one of the worst fast-food experiences I’ve had. The service was incredibly slow, despite there not being a long queue. The staff seemed disinterested and unfriendly, barely acknowledging customers. When I finally got my order, the food was far from McDonald's usual standard. The fries were cold and stale, the burger was slapped together carelessly with barely any sauce, and the bun was dry. It honestly tasted like it had been sitting there for a while. To make matters worse, the soda was flat, and the ice machine wasn’t working. The cleanliness of the restaurant was also disappointing. Tables weren’t being cleaned properly, and there was trash left on several of them. The floor was sticky, making the whole experience feel unhygienic. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this McDonald’s unless you’re absolutely desperate. With so many other food options in Cavendish, I’d suggest looking elsewhere for a better meal and service.
I ordered a bucket of chicken from KFC Wynberg, expecting the usual crispy, fresh chicken KFC is known for. Instead, I received greasy, soggy, and poorly cooked chicken that tasted like it had been sitting out for hours. To make things worse, the service was slow and disorganized. I had to wait far longer than expected, and when I finally got my order, the staff barely acknowledged me—no apology, no sense of urgency, nothing. For a brand as big as KFC, this level of poor food quality and terrible service is completely unacceptable. If this is the standard at KFC Wynberg, I’ll be taking my money elsewhere. Do better!
I’m beyond disappointed with my recent order from Butlers Pizza. I ordered the Meaty Foursome and the Hero Pizza, expecting the quality they claim to offer, but what I got was an absolute disaster. First off, the delivery took 45 minutes, which is way too long for a pizza place that prides itself on fast service. When the pizzas finally arrived, they were lukewarm, soggy, and falling apart—completely inedible. It was obvious they had been sitting around for ages before being delivered. To make matters worse, when I called to complain, I was met with zero concern and no attempt to fix the situation. The customer service was dismissive and unhelpful, making it clear that they don’t care about their customers’ experience. For the price they charge, this level of service and food quality is completely unacceptable. If this is how Butlers Pizza operates now, I won’t be ordering from them again. Sort it out!
