Debt Rescue is a legitimate company. My dealings with them have been exceptional. A word to anyone considering using Debt Rescue, it is a process, so be patient and when you are quoted on an amount payable to your creditors, it may not be the final amount. Debt Rescue will negotiate on your behalf and try to get you the lowest payment, but your creditors might ask for more. Again, Debt Rescue is a friendly and excellent company. THERE IS ONE LADY WHO HAS HELPED ME KEEP GOING AND HER NAME IS ROCHELLE. She is the true 5 Star lady here!! Thank you, Rochelle, for always keeping me upbeat when l feel a bit low. Blessings and warm wishes!!!
So, talk about disappointed!!!! I placed an order through Facebook (Mistake) on the 1st of August. I ordered 4 x Bottles of fragrance at R50 each plus R49 for delivery (Not door to door). I received that parcel today (20th) and firstly the box is plain, there is no note inside and there are only 3 x Bottles of fragrance and 2 are the same. So, l basically didn't receive 2 of the perfumes l ordered. I am so bothered by these ****mers, esp. on Facebook. It's not like l am rolling in the money. Please don't even think about buying from these people. I am very disappointed. There are no details, so l cannot contact them.
My experience with Santam was excellent. Aqhama was clear speaking and listened. I joined them today as they gave me a very good deal for vehicle insurance.
DEBT RESCUE - Brilliant!!! Friendly!!!! Helpful!!!!! I joined Debt Rescue in February 2025 as l was going through a difficult time regarding my finances. My bank kept putting through debit orders that were going unpaid and l was being charged R105 per unpaid debit order. This threw me right out of my budget and l was not coping. Out of desperation l spoke to my CFO and he recommended Debt Rescue. I had a lovely lady call me by the name of Zane, and wow was she helpful. I had a whole lot of questions, and she answered them in a way that made total sense to me. Then just to make it extra special, l have my own Client Relationship Consultant by the name of Rochelle. Rochelle is just next level. She is always available to chat to me should l have a question. She is just so amazing!!!!! South Africa, if you are not coping like l was, please give Debt Rescue a call, they will put you at ease and help you. They are not a company that will take your money and disappear and leave you in a worse situation. This is a legit company and have been in business a long time. You might be put off by the estimated amount of time it will take (mine is up to 5 years), but once you settle one smaller debt, that extra money will go to pay off your next creditor. I remember them saying it was a cascading (can't remember exact words). So it could take less than 5 years. The whole point of this review is to say a big 'THANK YOU' to Rochelle, Zane and Debt Rescue. I know l will become the lady without debt again.
FNB was a lovely bank at one stage. In the last year l had a few issues which has actually put me in debt. I used to have my Debit Orders got through on the 26th because where l worked, they paid salaries on the 25th. When l was retrenched, and had to move to another province, l found other employment. The company pays salaries on the last Thursday of the month (sometimes the 30th/31st). I had asked FNB to change my debit orders to the last day of the month, but each month l saw the debit orders going off on the 26th. Each time they put through the debit order, it would come back unpaid, and they would charge me R105 for each debit that didn't go through. So, l ended up being charged over R4000 because they kept putting it through and coming back unpaid. Unfortunately, it put me in serious debt.
I thought MTN was an up-and-coming company. I have had so many poor experiences with MTN, l could write a book. The latest episode is that l was getting told they are handing me over for account that's in arrears. 2 months ago, l was going through my statement, and it said l still owed R737. I had paid R300 a week before (my payment each month is for R260). I paid the R737 thinking l am in a credit. Oh no, now l am getting messages saying l owe them R1890 and that they are handing me over. When you go into the shop (l drive 54kms) to enquire about why the MiFi is not connecting. They take your phone, lounge back and l don't know what they are doing with my phone because not a word is being said to me. I walk out with no idea what they did on my phone and still no MiFi. The Consultants friends are sitting on those couches where they can see the consultant's computer and it's just one big party. What is going on? Why is there no-one checking?
If l may say, Eden Perfumes are absolutely fantastic!!!! Their perfumes are spectacular!!! However, the only glitch is they are selling at R160 a bottle. Perfume? or Food?
