I'm really disappointed with my experience with booking.com I booked a guest apartment in Cape Town Parklands that looked great on the site, but unfortunately, it didn't match the description. The place wasn't properly cleaned, and it became clear that it was a residential flat being rented out without any clear signage outside to indicate it was a guest accommodation. To make matters worse, there were cars being fixed on the property daily, and kids were playing outside, making a lot of noise. It was clear that this wasn't a dedicated hospitality establishment, and I felt like I was intruding on someone's home. In fact, I was surprised to find groceries and personal belongings still in the cupboards, which made me feel even more uncomfortable. When I tried to contact the owner to clarify some details, the telephone etiquette was non-existent - the owner was unprofessional and made me feel unsafe during the conversation. To add insult to injury, the address listed on the site was incorrect, and when I tried to research the business online, I couldn't find any presence whatsoever. It's concerning that a listing with such obvious red flags was allowed to exist on the platform. I feel like booking.com didn't properly vet the listing. To make things even more frustrating, I had to call the owner every single time I needed to enter or leave the property because he didn't provide me with a remote control for the gate - can you believe that? And to think I had to deal with his attitude every time I called. When I tried to reach out to booking.com to cancel, I was told the booking was non-refundable and I had to endure the unbearable stay at this unpleasant so-called guest apartment. I was unable to get any further assistance from them, which was really frustrating. I'd suggest checking their FAQ or trying a search online for more info on what to do in these situations. Hopefully, they'll sort this out soon and ensure that their listings are accurate and compliant with guest expectations."
"Sassa office Taung doesn't care about the public at all, a typical example of someone who chose a career for money instead of passion. My grandmother had obtained proof of an old-age grant for my nephew's tertiary application, as it was a requirement. She was told to produce proof that it's for my nephew. Old as she is, she had to go to the internet café to get an email address so I could send her a letter from the tertiary institution. She also had to go to the ATM to collect the money I sent to her for payment of printouts, as this proof was demanded in hard copies. When I called Sassa to inquire about the procedure for obtaining proof, I was told that no proof has to be adduced in order for my grandmother's request. To add insult to injury, my grandmother was sent from pillar to post, running around like a headless chicken, wasting her time and energy on unnecessary errands. It's heartbreaking that she had to go through this ordeal, and it's clear that the system is failing our vulnerable citizens. Sassa officials in Taung, you're not doing the community a favor; they're entitled to the services. You need them; they don't need you. Change your attitude towards the public or resign. There are thousands, if not millions, of unemployed graduates searching for the job that you don't appreciate."
On 8 July 2025 I registered and took part in an auction held at Boksburg Johannesburg by parkvillageauctions.co.za upon collection of the vehicle that I purchased I noticed that the left rear door, antenna and fuel cap where not working. That was not indicated on the lot which I personally feel that I was ****med. When I reported this to one of the staff members at Boksburg I was told that I was going to lose my deposit if I don't buy the car I had bid for.
The contact number is on the Internet but when you call to enquire about certain upcoming auctions your call is not answered Why run a business if you don't wish to entertain enquiries from your clients especially the cape town branch Mr Wessie Van der Westhuizen doesn't take calls
Why does it have to take a negative review to get hold of stadio higher education I couldn't write my exam today due to illness, I made numerous unsuccessful calls to stadio until I gave up all I needed was to make a telephonic arrangement to write an exam I missed
Stadio higher education just doesn't care about it's students, I have been trying to get hold of them telephonically and via email to no success I had to hold for 10 minutes for my call to be answered and after a few seconds without even listening to my enquiry the call was hanged up. I couldn't submit an assignment due to an error on canvas I guess I will again have to reregister and repeat the module due to non-caring staff members who won't even take responsibility for their unprofessionalism and in competency. I don't think there is high call volumes experiences at the campus as per the telephone recorded message, that's just an excuse to keep us waiting for a long time over the phones.
