I am currently busy with my 5th course through Trojan Training Solutions, and I could not be happier! Jonathan and Mike provide consistently helpful advice and guidance, and they are exceptionally knowledgeable. Totally recommend them for training!
I bought 4 bags of Waggies senior dog food in January 2025. When I opened the first bag, the food was covered in mould, and I had to dump the entire bag in the ******* bin. I opened the second bag, which seems fine. However, this morning when I opened bags 3 and 4, both were filled with mould covered dog food. I noticed then that the food expired in February 2025. (Bought it at Pick n Pay, but obviously I no longer have the receipt.) However, note that I opened the first bag prior to the expiry date, and it was already rotten, and would have negatively impacted my senior dog's health. I cannot find contact details for Gourmet Industry, the manufacturer of Waggies, but I did find MANY similar complaints on HelloPeter website.
What a bunch of ********* b*ll****ters! Call me with claims that my contract was migrated for another 2 years, which I know I did not authorise! After their desperate attempt to get me to agree to an upgrade failed, I phoned Vodacom who told me that my contract was NEVER migrated. So they tried telling me ******* just to get me to extend a contract. I will NEVER answer any calls from "Vodacom" again. They create the impression that they are a part of Vodacom
Good luck with whatever you buy from them. When we ordered ours, they had the dimensions totally wrong and they had to replace it. It is now less that a year later, and the second corner has ripped out. Probably because it has no steel ring reinforcement like the ones I bought from Builders. Do yourself a favor - spend R100 more and go buy a proper product at Builders, or even the brand name one on Takealot. Shadeg sail we bought didn’t last a year, and it was poorly finished off. Lesson learned
My son's FNB bank card expired. So FNB charged him R125 for a new card, but didn't bother sending anything. They claim that they contacted me, but cannot prove it. I then ordered him a new card on 22 August, they charged me R150 this time (which they have reversed, because they're not supposed to charged for replacing an expired card), but I have yet to hear from their courier company to have the new card delivered. So when I say NO THANK YOU every time that FNB offers me "Private Bankers", THIS is why. I'm currently on the Secure Chat function on their app, with Nonpumelelo, who does not bother to respond to me. I think I'll close this account and open him an account elsewhere.
An update on our case against Secnet Solutions / Morne van der Merwe / Anne-Marie Horn. We paid nearly R300 000 to Secnet Solutions on 19 January (don’t bother searching for them, they have already removed their website, but I am aware that two of the directors, Morne Wessel van der Merwe and Anne-Marie Horn have already registered a new company, Blue Stone Facilities Management and Maintenance). We reported them to Department of Labour, who sent out an electrical engineer, who confirmed that the installations were done *******ly. They forced the person who issued the COC to redo the job in two of the three homes. The remaining home we will now have redone at our own expense. SAPS cannot arrest them, as the State Prosecutor has said that it is a civil case, which we will now have to pursue formally in court. Van der Merwe has acknowledged that he owes us the money, but I doubt that we'll see any of it until we start the court proceedings. I would NEVER recommend this company or individuals, nor will I ever entrust them with another cent of my money. People, beware.
So…. It turns out we have joined the long list of people who have been ****med by opportunistic allegedly *****ulent solar installers! We paid nearly R300 000 to Secnet Solutions on 19 January (don’t bother searching for them, they have already removed their website, but I am aware that two of the directors, Morne Wessel van der Merwe and Anne-Marie Horn have already registered a new company, Blue Stone Facilities Management and Maintenance) Long version of the story, after Morne sent his contractors to install inverters and batteries in our homes, they have now disappeared with the rest of our money – still a good chunk of change. We then had a Master Electrician inspect their work, and we have reports as long as my arm about things that were done *******ly during these installations. Ranging from having used undersize wiring, bypassing our homes’ earth leakage protection (MAJOR issue!), insufficient protection of circuit breakers to contravening the Fire Safety Laws of SANS10142.2 by *******ly installing lithium batteries in our bedrooms. In total, 15 of these little faults were identified, all which have very serious financial, health and safety and legal implications for us as homeowners and residents. I have been advised by the Electrical Contractors Association, as well as by the Electrical Conformance Board and Association of Renewable Energy Practitioners that Morne van der Merwe is NOT registered with them, and I have been advised to report them to the Department of Labour, which we did. We have also reported them to the CGSO and intend to take legal action, and *****/theft cases have been opened with SAPS against all the directors of Secnet Solutions'. One can only hope that they get arrested before they get to **** any more people, and ***** more people's money. In the meantime, I will make it a priority to create as much awareness as I can about these people. Anyone is free to contact me for proof of my claims, SAPS CAS numbers, as well as much information as any member of the public can get about them, but usually would have to pay for.
Your Kyalami Downs branch is pathetic. Ordered and paid for 3 burgers, chips and coleslaw. In store I had to ask them where the third burger was. Then they forgot the chips. Got home, and the cheese that I paid for was not there. Their call center is equally useless. This is not the first time they have messed up our orders. The burgers were so dry, I gave it to my dogs
There is absolutely nothing that I would recommend about this company. I paid for a sail; it was delivered - but it was completely the wrong size. Took them another week to let me know that I must send the incorrect sail back to them “at my convenience” (and cost, I presume. Wouldn't know, they don't bother responding to me) for them to resize it. This after I have stressed to them that I need this sail urgently for my wedding. I am still waiting for feedback from them regarding a refund, as I am now sitting with a useless sail. They just don’t bother responding. DO NOT use this company - their customer service (and obviously their attention to detail and overall willingness to provide a decent product) is zero. If you're in the market for a shade sail, do yourself a favour and buy one of the ready-made, big name ones at Builders. I know that this company also supplies to certain other retailers, but I will most certainly make an effort to avoid them when I do now go and buy a shade sail. Pay a few rands more for a sail that you can actually use.
