In the past I had to contact Platinum Life a few times to make changes etc
In the past I had to contact Platinum Life a few times to make changes etc. I never experienced any problems. Last conversation was about a problem with a debit order and was sorted out quickly. Always friendly and effortless service.

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE
Phoned Houdini Locksmith to assist (and it was an emergency as I informed the lady ) and was told 10 15 min. From Newton Park to Lorraine. They arrived 40min later, their vehicles battery had to be jumped start... I phoned 4 times during the 40 min, my call was cut twice because I was standing in the pouring rain, not once did they bother to phone back and kept saying the man is on his way when I phoned back. No explanation when they arrived, only when I said that I was panicking I was informed that the car would not start and had to be jump start... No apologies either. I will personally NOT use them again.

Smile!
The staff is helpful in general but I would like to compliment a young woman by the name of Deidre Steenkamp from Food Lovers Market Metlife Port Elizabeth. It was at the end of bussiness day and only a few till open still, people were tired and in a hurry to get home but Deidre was so friendly, patient when I asked questions about prices etc. She had a smile on her face while talking to me, people like that makes you feel good. She is an asset for the store and her attitude will make customers return to shop there. Keep smiling Deidre!

Bad experience
We stopped at the Hard Rock Kitchen and was told by the owner that they open at 6.30. We booked a table for 6.30 and upon our arrival the waitress could not find our booking and seated us at a large table. We liked the unusual setting very much and ordered a bottle of wine and a while later a salad and pizza. Before our pizza arrived the owner sporoached us and asked if she can seat 3 French people at our table. We said that we are not comfortable wirh it and dhe said that was ok and left. A minute late she returned and informed us that she is miving us to another table because she can not let them wait outside. She started moving clearing our table and we got up and felt unhappy and embarrased. She handled the whole situation incorrect by not asking us, but telling us. She spoiled our whole evening and we will defniately not return.

Beautiful view
Stayed at Villa Marine at Pringle Bay. The room was as beautiful as the photos. Awesome view, beautiful, comfortable, clean and luxcurious, friendly hosts.

Friendly, profesional call re complaint
I would like to thank Lynn Oliphant for the call and the friendly, profesional manner she handled the complaint. I can hear that she takes pride in what she does and expects her staff to friendly, polite and profesional at all times. I like to visit the Greenacres Boardmans branch, the staff is friendly and helpful in general. Treat people the way you want to be treated.

Bad service
This lady gave me incorrect information on two occasions, costing me time and petrol driving from one store to another. Bedding and towels were on promotion for less 40% and both times she gave me incorrect info by saying that the item I wanted was not on promotion. I would then drive to the other branch only to find out that it was on promotion. The second time I asked her to gind out and she insisted that she was correct.

Bad attitude
I returned an item that was still sealed in plastic. She was busy having a private conversation with someone and was not happy when I interrupted and asked if I could return the item. She placed the book infront of me to write down my details and asked if I have used the item. I said that the box was still sealed, she looked at me and said with a cheeky, rude attitude that she is allowed to Dk me questions. I ignored the remark, took the money and left. She did not greet me, I had to waig for her to finish her private conversation and she had a very bad attitude.

Excellent service
Lorraine Woolworths cashiers are always friendly, polite and professional unlike most staff at other places. Woolworths staff in general are well trained in this manner. Lorraine might not have a big shop or a big variety but the attitude of the staff, especially the cashiers makes up for it.
