I recently needed to either buy a new lighting unit, or replace a part. Lighting Warehouse (Boksburg) did not stock the part, but an assistant, Lebo, had a look at it, and managed to repair it for me. This is an essential light and for a struggling pensioner the cost could otherwise have been prohibitive. Many thanks Lebo, for caring. I will heartily recommend this business.
I recently claimed for a leaking geyser, about to burst. Within two days Momentum had approved the quote and paid the into my banking account. Excellent service.
I called the branch to enquire after marked down price for butter. The lady who answered put me on hold to investigate. When this took too long, I put down the phone. 5 minutes later, the same person called me back with the information. Well done!
Some weeks back I posted a serious complaint re lack of stock for advertised items. Pick and Pay Oakfields reacted, contacted me, apologized, and assured me that if ever the same situation arose they would give me items at advertised prices. Pick and Pay Northmead however, have not reacted at all, and were guilty of charging normal prices for items substantially marked down. So well done Oakfiields, poor service Northmead.
Pick and Pay , both nationally and locally, regularly advertises specials, but frequently they do not have stock on the shelves. Understandable (maybe) with fresh produce, but with something like flour and chocolate, not acceptable. This amounts to misleading advertising. Complaints have fallen on deaf ears and complaints via website simply refer one to a consumer lawyer!

Wellvita use a very large plastic container for a small amount of capsules, thereby adding at least 60% unnecessary plastic to landfill. for a supposedly health oriented company, this is unforgivable.
I recently had a flat battery, at home. Momentum's Service Centre response was was quick and professional. Help arrived in 15 minutes, and problem resolved. Outstanding service !
Shocking service levels; extremely long wait (2 1/2 - 3 hrs) at Benoni branch. presumably due to closure of Northmead Square branch. Elderly and sick persons made to wait for a very long time. Totally inadequate staffing levels.
