Skip due diligence and start with threats. This is how Phathiwe Lusithi at Quest Claims started her interaction with me via email. She starts with, they haven't received my settlement for an accident. I am like what? This is the first I hear of it. Lets start with what actually happened. I was happily driving home one day after picking up my daughter from school, driving on a road where 2 lanes merge into 1. There was no issue at this point until a driver from behind decided to aggresively drive faster and start forcing me off the road. Read, push me off the road. My car, is a plat kar, I can't do offroad, I had no choice but to stay my lane. Anyways, the cars touched. Not hit, touched. There were barely any damage, but because this driver is aggresive and I didn't trust the situation, went straight to the police station, where they kept everyone calm and we wrote down our statements. That is what I thought was the end of it because there was no damage right? RIGHT?! No. Now I am being threatened for destroying my credit life and sending me a summons and other things. 1. Why should I pay for damage on the other car, caused by the other driver? I was a victim in this crime. 2. Also, there were only tyre marks on that car, how does that amount to R 28,983.85 ? Seems this must be a *****ulent claim. This whole claim against me is ********.
Why are we forced to reset our online password, every single time we log in? Is your website security so bad that this is the only way you thought is secure, but literally annoying the **** out of your website customers?
Why is it so difficult or near impossible to disable voicemail on mtn contract? The website says, dial *132# and use option 2. However that just says that is only for payasyou go and I must call the callcentre. I call the callcentre, get to a so called chamption, and the champion says to use *132#. After I explain, no this says for payasyougo, they say I must disable this in my phone settings. There is nothing about voicemail in my phone settings, it is carrier side. Then they are so clueless, they want me to go in to a MTN shop. WHY!
Website is absolutely useless. Trying to open a contract. How difficult can that be? Well, for starters, the website doesn't list the required documents to open a contract. Google does find a result, that used to be there, but it is incomplete. Following the link or even searching on MTN's own website is a futile exercise, just wasting time. Then I tried to open the contract online, but the web form fails in all kinds of different ways. So I tried in-store, only for to have to return 3 days in a row, because the first time I am told, emailing the docs is not supported. So have to waste paper to print it on, just so that they can scan it in again. We live in 2023! Not in the 80s. First day, no you can't email docs. Second day, no you also need another doc. I asked why didn't you tell me, only to be accused by the store agent that he did tell me, except I actually remember I interrupted him about the not allowed to email. Needless to say, I am frustrated by their incompetence and processes.
Horrible bank, They try to promote themselves as a bank that is cheap, but when you don't use the account they force you into debt if the account is at R0 by starting to add costs and sending an account into the negative, where I never signed up for credit.
Early June I contacted GC Fires because I heard great feedback for them, to get a fire place installed. After their advice on a builder and a unit, I ordered and paid for the Galaxy 80 fireplace with the intention of using the thermal fans that it come with. The only problem is, my unit arrived without a control panel. Which means the thermal fans never turn on and the install is incomplete with wiring hanging out of the wall for the control panel. I tried multiple times to follow up, the builder tried multiple times to follow up. Here we are 2-3 months later and my install is still incomplete. At this point, I guess it will still be incomplete next year winter. Basically, don't expect after sales service. I was then contacted after my initial review here by GC Fires to rectify the situation. After my review, I can now say that GC Fires went above and beyond to help me eventually get the switch delivered. Thank you GC Fires!
If I knew how difficult it would be to get support out of this company when something go wrong with an online order, I would never used them. Currently have an order in limbo for more than half a month, will be a month soon. When emailing/ticket, they just say will be delivered in 5 days. Then 5 days later...nothing. Their whatsapp is not better either. Just get asked for sku number of product I am looking for...
I received the following text: OTP number:****** Your Cell C contract is almost approved. Please call 084 151, option 1, if you did not apply. Cell C. I did NOT take out a new contract. Reading other reviews on here, the call centre wont be able to help me with this. I will most definitely take it up with my bank if I get debited. I never had, never will, have a Cell C contract and this is just plain fraud and day light robbery. Reports of this as early as 2016!
I registered an account on their online shop. Now after moving, for more than a year, its been impossible to get my delivery address fixed. Their support thinks I am a business and needs a business letter. What kind of company in 2021 makes it impossible to update a delivery address on their online shop? They probably really don't want to do business at all.
Tried to sign up for a new sim-only contract. Couldn't because of a past contract where after it was cancelled there was according to them late usage. This cost was R8.38. The payment details given didn't work. Easypay say account doesnt exist. When I enter the bank account on online banking...it is not accepted. Because of this, the contract is refused. This company is completely incompetent when it come to anything billing related. I am silly for even trying to sign up.
