Beagle Watch Armed response is the best by far. Excellent service.
This is probably the most amazing company with wonderful staff I have every came across. Dedicated service, friendly and helpful staff and prompt and excellent service. I can fully understand that they have recently won the Best of Joburg award for security companies. Their contribution to environmental cleanups and clean communities is way above the norm. Highly recommended!

PayMyFines takes your money for a fine but does not pay it to the authority
In December 2024 I have paid a traffic fine via the PayMyFines webpage and the money was deducted from my credit card a day later. However, I keep getting notices from the authorities that this fine remains unpaid and despite numerous follow-ups with PayMyFines, the matter remains unresolved. Is this tardiness, ***** or perhaps a ****?

Builders Wharehouse: Badly trained staff, very poor management of the storage yard and lack of communication.
I placed an online order for 16 bags of screed mix plus a 3m Al straight edge for collection from Builders Wharehouse in Stubensvalley. When collecting, the bags of screed mix, it was noticed that these were stored externally in the rain and when opening the bags for use, it was found that the cement bags got wet and the cement was already partly hydrated (hard). Also the staff did not know what an Aluminium straight edge was and took a very long time to help me with finding this item. I contacted the BW helpline who tried to assist but even they could not get feedback or results from the store. This inefficient and very poor service from Builders Stubensvalley is now delaying the job and the contractor is standing. Badly trained staff, very poor management of the storage yard and lack of communication seems to be prevalent at Builders Warehouse nowadays. I cannot recommend them to anyone and would rather make use of their much more reliable and efficient competitor across the road.

Exceptional eye care medical specialist practice in Johannesburg
I had two eye surgical procedures performed by Dr Lara Sandri from Retina Blue Eye Clinic recently. Both procedures were a great success! Dr Sandri and her team are so professional and amazingly compassionate with wonderful patient relationships and care. Their pre-operation consultation, surgical procedures and post-operative consultation were done is such a way that my concerns about the procedures vanished. This is an above world-class eye care (Retinal and Ocular Oncology) practice with amazingly high-tech equipment, highly professional staff, efficient management and is certainly highly recommended.

rain special offer: false and ********* marketing?
I enquired about rainone and received an email indicating a special exclusive offer of R300 discount on my rain purchase. See below: "don't miss out on this exclusive offer! Hey D** K*****, We're excited to offer you a limited-time opportunity to save R300 on your rainone purchase. With rainone, you'll enjoy unlimited 5G home wifi, plus FREE monthly calls, data, and SMS for 2 phones. Call us toll-free at 080 0008 790 or visit rain.co.za to request a call, and our sales agents will get in touch promptly. " The sales agent called me to confirm my order, and I collected the modem and sim cards the same day. The next day rain deducted the normal monthly fee and the discount R300 was nowhere to be seen. I called the call center but was passed from sales to support desk and back to sales, but nobody could assist. I consider this as false and ********* marketing.

I received great and efficient service from the Rain Call Center. Will collect the modem from the Town Square store in Roodepoort tomorrow and will see if they offer the same level of service.

Best pool net and cover company ever! From a happy customer.
What a wonderful company to do business with. They installed a pool cover for me in 2022 and their service then was quick and efficient. With the heavy rain and hail we experienced in Jan 2024, the pool cover was filled with rainwater and a few of the paving connector points took some strain with the heavy extra water load on top of the cover. After phoning the company, they came out within a day, and re-clued the problem areas. Quick, efficient and at no charge. What a great South African company. Thanks Louis and team!

I would suggest that clients avoid the Standard Bank Northcliff branch as far as possible currently. The service today was very slow and one spends close to an hour waiting in queues.

Amazing service by SA Pool Net & Covers.
Just had a pool cover installed by this company. What a pleasure to do business with them. Very quick service, knowledgeable staff which goes the extra mile and a price which I thought was very reasonable. For both the on site quotation and the installation, they were right on time, provided a professional in service and quick to respond to questions and queries. I had a question about one of the fasteners and they came back the same day to resolve my query. Based on my experience as civil engineer working with contractors over many years, I will certainly highly recommend this contractor.

Great Rood Repair Contractor.
I have just had roof waterproofing and gutter replacement done at my home using Speedy Rood Repairs. What a joy to work with a company that gives prompt feedback, arrive on site at the scheduled time and do a job that I am happy and satisfied with. As a professional engineer, I work with many contractors and this company and its staff is certainly one of the best I have worked with in recent years. The quote was reasonable and the quality top notch. Thanks to Liz and Helge and their site teams
