I had previously complained about Kingdom Doors' services; you pay a lot of money for doors to be installed, but then you have to pay extra for other construction services. I was really disappointed by this since it seemed like a ripoff because the installers don't do much but charge a lot. After more than three years, what were meant to be considered steel security doors are crumbling apart, and they look weak?
I keep getting billed for a contract that has expired and needs to be cancelled. I have never agreed for the contract to be on a month-to-month basis. terms and conditions said 24-month contract
For years, I have been able to manage to get the kind of group R and car preference I like through Europcar rental, which my company works with. However, this year's July and August have been frustrating for me because it has not been the same feeling received with the only car options that were available. Nevertheless, I would like to commend the manager and staff at OR Tambo airport. Aside from my tears and the fact that I am not getting the brand of car I want, the staff has been incredibly pleasant to speak with; they answer emails and make me smile on bad days. Although there are some things beyond our control, their professionalism and compassion in providing service are unparalleled, and I want to thank everyone at Europcar OR Tambo airport (collection and drop-off bays).
DSTV Multichoice is a ****; on October 02, 2024, we reinstalled and transferred our account to a new user. We paid all required funds and were covered for the month. On October 11, Multichoice suspended or disconnected the channels. When we contacted them, they said we owed R400 for the subscription and an additional R108 for the days the channels were broadcast. As a new user, I find it hard to understand how I owe for watching DSTV for 10 days, and this, in my opinion, explains why people are now choosing to subscribe to other networks.
Purpose of my writing is I recently assisted my sister with taking her car (which is under the Absa Trust) for service and parts repairs especially after the attempted hijacking damages, Shared necessary quotes and supporting documentation to absa trust for payments, but because of absa’s lack of communication and poor ETA (Expected Turn Around), service provider quotes expire within 7 days and prices change, therefore payment was eventually made weeks late of which further delayed repairs and parts ordering, Eventually when I managed to re-book the car, there were additional charges incurred, I wrote to absa again informing of the new developments, service provider kept the car for 2 weeks as it could not be released without payments, Upon seeing that there was a lack of response from absa, I then decided to borrow some monies so I can have the vehicle released and avoid more penalties, I once again wrote to absa trust clearly explaining the situation and steps I had taken, submitted receipts as proof of payment in the request of a refund, their 5-7 working days turnaround times for request has lapsed, numerous follow up emails have been shared, and there is still lack of communication/updates of the refund status, With the advance technology that South Africa currently has, I will rate absa as the poorest if they still need 7 days to process enquiries with all documentations submitted in order, I will email the whole absa trust department but none of them give constructive feedback, I have been rotating from Akhona Williams, Samukelisiwe Nhlabathi to Khumo Choabi, I am on my third week and only frustration is adding up, Absa bank needs to improve their services, I closed my banking account because of such, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. I didn't claim for the diagnostics amount I paid for, however I would like to be refunded the other additional amount.
Booked a car with Europcar at OR Tambo airport, unfortunately when going to pick up they had ran out of cars to hire, however instead of being dismissed Thabang Mazibuko made calls to make things happen, asked me to give him 30mins and they will sort me out, and they did exactly that, on my return they had to upgrade me and turned my negative attitude into a positive and happy mode, for that I am grateful for the spectacular services they offered.
The area has been having network outage for more than 4 days, and no assistance has been received,
To whom it may concern, I sincerely hoping you’re keeping well, I have just received notification via SMS that I owe UNISA for modules that I applied for in the year 2021 which I couldn’t continue doing cause UNISA failed to load the study material online for me to access, and that eventually caused me failure to continue and cancel my studies, however when I check my financial statement, I can only see them being suspended and later on a subject being re-instated without my request. It was very difficult and challenging registering in 2021, and not being able to continue with online courses made matters worse, because there is no hard copy material and there is no soft copy material uploaded on the system. Now receiving a financial statement that I owe over R5k for studies I requested cancellation for, even worse did not receive or got materials uploaded online for is completely unfair and causing a burden, UNISA set me up for let-down and now extorting monies for something they failed to deliver on, and made it unmanageable, I do not find your procedures appropriate and I feel I should not be expected to settle, After begging to be registered, I eventually requested for cancellation and refund of my minimum payment for my application, only then I was registered, I raised a query about not being able to access my online modules and was informed there are no hard copies, then demanded to be cancelled of my enrolment, and now few months later in a new year, got warning that I need to settle an overdue account by 31st May 2022 to avoid facing debt collector and incurring additional costs, I find such practice very unfair and inappropriate.
I am solely not impressed by your installation rules/procedures, there is not enough explanation or clarity when it comes to your own contractors for fitting your doors, it feels like a financial Rip-Off. I paid R4000 for 2x doors installation, of which I was informed old doors, frames will be removed, material is brought by the contractors, and I do not have to buy additional extras, However on day of fitting, I was advised to employ external builders to detach the old doors and frames, put in concrete lintel blocks and plaster the door as they (KD installers) couldn't do it. So I hired other professional gents, bought my own building materials such as building sand, plastering sand, cement , bricks and concrete lintels as advised, so the construction can continue. And of course getting external help means the owners is on me the customer to repair/fix and plaster the house cause it's now my damages, all Kingdom Doors does is just fit in the door, plastering is done by those I hired. I am absolutely disturbed/unsettled that I paid so much for a service which was hardly rendered to me, and I am still expected to pay for the labour of external employment? that is completely ridiculous of Kingdom Doors
I made a direct deposit at a Nedbank ATM to my savings account using a bank card, its been over 24hrs, and the deposit/monies still has not reflected, the inconvenience of being unable to make payments, Got an sms notification and receipt reflecting a positive balance but I cannot fo what I want.
