I am trying to submit a claim and the main (and only) phone number is not working.
I received exceptional service in my dealings with Discovery Insure's Joelene Scholtz. It was certainly a breath of fresh air. Many thanks to Jo and Discovery.
I had my phone insured with Vodacom Insurance to a value of R20,000. My phone got stolen in a hi-jacking. Vodacom phones me to say that I can choose a phone up to the value of R20,000. At Vodacom they say Note 10 is R17,334 and the Note 10+ is R20,054. They refused to allow me to take the Note 10 + and allow me to pay in the balance of R54. When I queried it they said that the Note 10+ was in the bracket for R25,000. They also said they would not upgrade the phone - merely replace. My Note 8 was the highest level of Samsung Note devices at the time. This is ludicrous and ridiculous - another way to ***** the consumer. I have cancelled my insurance with them.
We had a job done by RelyOn Enterprises where they installed built-in cupboards. Initially the job was done fairly well with a few problems, as detailed below. There however was an issue that the table tops were all at a lower level to the original. This caused a few problems - there is a visible mark on the wall tiles where the original table top was and the plumbing could not be reconnected. They never reconnected the plumbing - I needed to get a plumber to re-pipe the section under the sink. They never cleaned the walls where the original table tops where - this is around the entire kitchen. The other issue was that when they connected the cupboards around the electrical switch box they did not leave enough space for the electrician to remove the front cover - their response was that they were not able to fix this and that I must get the electrician to cut the cover - this is going to look unsightly. Due to a flooring issue from another contractor they had to remove some of their cupboards. They then re-quoted to replace the removed units. There are a few small issues that I cannot get them to come and fix or even to return my calls - although this gets promised each time.I have also been promised by the owner that these issues would be attended to - with no joy. The one is that a part of the table laminate got damaged and they said they would fix this - weeks ago - I had to find a place where they could get it from - even though they supplied it originally. From what started out as quite a professional way of operating, the customer service of RelyOn begs the question of where they got their name from.
iBurst closed down and 247online took over the email accounts - I filled out the migration form on their website - no response Phoned many times - the calls do not get answered or get dropped In the meantime I cannot receive or send mail through that account - it was my main business email I checked with other email service providers and I cannot transfer this email account - it has to be done through them How are they running their business - if at all I am really desperately unhappy with their lack of service
