I love going to this McDonalds. Yes they are new and did have teething problems like getting orders incorrect, ice cream machine out of icecream but they are helpful friendly and take full responsibility for any mistakes. We had no power for 24 hours and I would love to thank this store for helping us out with power points and free wifi, never complaining if someone did not order something, the community came together and the staff totally understood, Kudos to you McDonalds Kingsburgh.

#BlackFriday Love this place, my only concerns are that the river running next to the venue is really not well maintained and smells terrible which is not nice when you are eating, this needs to be sorted out. Waffles are great, very filling and delicious but a bit pricey.
#BlackFriday Telkom used to give a lot of problems but since other businesses have taken over with internet I am really happy I have stayed with Telkom. The internet is stable although there are problems, but when calling them they answer almost immediately, no long waits like before, they try their best to fix the problem, they are helpful and they follow up on faults without you having to follow up. Their internet is fast and cheaper than other internet providers.
#BlackFriday I love Woolworths because of the quality of their food, you know that you are buying fresh products, they are supporting local farmers, I just wish that all woolworths stocked the same products as I have to drive really far to get the new items offered by Woolworths as the Kingsburgh/Amanzimtoti area does not stock the same as Durban North stores. But all in all if I buy meat fruit and vegetables I will only choose Woolworths, I am never disappointed.
I took out an upgrade for my daughter on the 24th June 2025 but shortly after this she found out she was immigrating so we called the Vodacom cancellations department (082 1958 at 09:50 on 2 July) 8 days later (within the 14 days cancellation period) to cancel the upgrade. They advised I need to go into a store, so I went to the store that afternoon and the store advised that the upgrade was done over the phone which goes through a call centre so they cannot proceed with the cancellation and I need to do it directly with the call centre. I called the call centre (031 304 1845 at 15:55) the following day (9 days post upgrade) and they said they would come back to me the following day. After continuous follow ups, eventually 7 days later the call centre calls back to say I am out of the 14 day period, I confirm that I contacted the store 7 days ago and they said they will come back to me. They never came back to me, to this day. I escalated this to X and have been contacted by Vodacom but they keep telling me I did not contact them within the 14 days. All the calls are recorded and I have my call log of all my calls yet they “cant find” the recordings. I just want this contract cancelled! I have been a Vodacom customer since my first cellphone many many years ago and I have been loyal to them, every upgrade is with Vodacom but I think it is time to move to MTN but from what has been happening with this one case I do not think I would ever be able to move over to MTN or CELL C because Vodacom call centre DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING, they are not informed, they are not trained properly and they ignore all queries. Calls are recorded so please go back to the call log and date I sent on Twitter and listen to that call then cancel this contract IMMEDIATELY!!!! I have wasted hours and airtime phoning people who do not know their job.
Your store looks amazing, your delivery with sixty60 is awesome and efficient but your management of stock coming in needs better control, the cold chain thing is not working, someone is slacking. I received Lancewood yoghurt more than 3 times that was off, I contacted lancewood who assured me it leaves them in the truck with the fridge so from arriving at Checkers Seadoone mall and transported into the fridges in store there seems to be a problem. From the fridge/freezer truck to your fridges and freezers there is a serious problem. I have received my order of cold meat, yoghurt, frozen food etc that arrived within 20 minutes yet it was warm and mould was growing on the cold meat, the frozen goods were already melted, meat has been off (like totally rotten and smelling) this means that the store has not placed the products into the fridge/freezer timeously. The cold chain is not being run properly and this does not happen with other Checkers stores as I have asked numerous people who have ordered. Numerous, many people have complained about the Checkers Seadoone store. Quality control is not following the correct standards and protocol. Plus I have often been in store and found loads of expired products.
I ordered my dinner on Woolies Dash yesterday at 3.45pm, by 6.15 still nothing has arrived. My order eventually arrived at 6.30pm!!!!! By this time I had gone out to buy dinner, so what I did receive (my salads) are now wasted, plus I have still not received a refund for the items I did not receive, which was my dinner. No communication from Woolworths throughout these 2+ hours of waiting. I tried calling the helpline, calls get dropped or nobody answers. I have emailed as well but nobody has contacted me as yet. Surely if there is a problem and they are running late the customer should get a call from the store or the shopper? And exactly where is my refund going to go? I paid via debit card and if I get the refund into my WW store card it is useless as for some unknown reason my store card is blocked (I have had this card since 1990 and have NEVER missed a payment) so this needs to be rectified as well as the awful woolies dash service. Checker 60 sixty is phenomenal, maybe they should train your woolies dash service!
I placed an order on 11/10/204 using my 800 vodabucks to buy a Disney frozen Single microphone karaoke stand for my granddaughter's birthday. I received a COMPLETELY different item (Disney frozen star microphone stand karaoke, not what I ordered or wanted) within a few days. I immediately called them and they apologised and said they would collect the incorrect item and send the correct item within 5-7 days. The very next day they came to collect the incorrect item, and until today I have still not received the correct item. I called, sent messages to Vodabuks/Vodapay on social media, day after day after day with being ignored and no luck. I eventually contacted Vodacom on Twitter and they promised to escalate the problem. By the time my granddaughters birthday came which was on 15/11/2024, more than a month had passed with no replacement sent. Yet they were quick to collect the incorrect product within 24 hours. Eventually they refunded me my 800 vodabucks but sadly my granddaughter who turned 5 did not receive her present and I feel like the worst grandmother on earth as she knew what I had ordered as she chose it. This is totally unacceptable. What must I do with the vodabucks AFTER her birthday plus the store has absolute useless junk items for children, so I could not even use the vodabucks for something else and at least get her a present. I have been with Vodacom since I can remember (I am sure its about 20 years now) I have 2 contracts and have never missed a payment and this is the thanks I get for my loyalty!!!!!!
If I could give zero stars I would. PLEASE stop calling me, stop threatening me with legal action, stop smsing me, lose my name, my number, everything about me. I am NOT a client of yours, my contract was cancelled with immediate effect and taken over by the new owners. PLEASE this has been going on for 2 months with DAILY CALLS DAILY THEATS DAILY SMSES! You are deducting monthly payments from me and the new owner, this is theft and *****. I will complain on EVERY SINGLE SOCIAL MEDIA channel if you do not stop contacting me IMMEDIATELY!!! Please train your accounts department how to actually run the accounts as it seems like cancellations never get done for anyone and you charge the old owners and the new owners, I have been through all the reviews and I am not the only one complaining about this. I would appreciate it if you would please sort this out RIGHT NOW so that I can stop being spammed by your calls and smses. Get a real qualified person who knows what they are doing to deal with this please.
