First off, the staff was very friendly and the test done was professional and efficient. This review is not a review of the staff but Lancet. 1. Had to sit in the sun for an hour like lizards. 2. They shut down their payment system to reconcile. We're in 2022. Who shuts down their whole payment system to do basic admin tasks. Had to go and draw money and pay cash. 3. Get the test results by SMS and try to open report to print and "The requested report can no longer be viewed using this link." Maybe I am overly judgmental but this really does not present as a professional institution.
A rare level of professionalism. Having had a problem with my order on their side, I was contacted, where they explained the situation and promised next day delivery. I received my goods as promised the next day. It is just that, I work with many companies but I always have to follow up on an order that is delayed. Thank you and keep up the good work.
Hi After a rocky start with Audico having sold the last unit on the weekend that I made the order, Rowan went out of his way to keep me satisfied. Instant replies to my emails and very accommodating. Audico is definitely client satisfaction orientated, which for a while, I have not seen ordering online or even locally. Thank you Rudi
<p>I placed and order for R511.23 and shortly after 3 amounts were reserved on my credit card for a total of R679.00</p> <p> </p> <p>I emailed RS Components for an explanation and received a reply from Grace Madzimure.</p> <p>She really was very helpful and I want to take the opportunity to thank her for her time and effort (3 emails in total).</p> <p> </p> <p>As she explained, RS Components reserves stock on their other global sites and that is the reason for the 3 reserved amounts.</p> <p>When the items are shipped and invoiced then the invoice amount is finally deducted (charged) to my credit card.</p> <p> </p> <p>This makes sense to a certain degree but what I don't understand and I have not gotten confirmation for:</p> <p> </p> <p>Why would more be reserved on MY credit card? (Grace also stated that I need to make sure that I have more credit available than the actual order amount)</p> <p>Will they decide that they can invoice (and charge to my credit card) more than the grand total of the order?</p> <p>How is it that they do not reserve stock transparently from the amount of the order total?</p> <p>One of the items are on back order until 2017-04-15. Do I need to monitor my credit until then?</p> <p> </p> <p>I contacted the credit card fraud department and they stated that is fine that they do this and that I need to raise a dispute to have the transactions reversed.</p> <p>When do I raise this dispute?</p> <p>When the amounts are reserved or when they finally charge my credit card?</p> <p>Is the whole process of reserving amounts not for the reason to provide time to prevent a fraudulent transaction/s?</p> <p> </p> <p>I have placed a fair amount of orders with RS Components and have NEVER been disappointed. They are a stellar company that has never let me down.</p> <p> </p> <p>I however have to refrain from doing any further business with them as I cannot allow ANY company to reserve (and possibly charge) amounts all willy nilly on my credit card.</p> <p>Too many questions, no security and a sense of trepidation has resulted in this.</p> <p> </p> <p>It is to my regret that I will no longer be dealing with RS Components until they change their policy regarding credit card payments.</p> <p>I have put this here to warn others.</p>
<p>I reported that my line was down on the 16th of December. I did not expect much during the festive season , however they surprised me and a technician showed up. He was riendly and got straight to work. He fixed the fault (Somewhat, as the line was terribly noisy) and off on his merry way.</p> <p>I reported the line noisy the same day but the line only lated for a day. Was down again the very next day.</p> <p> </p> <p>My line is still down Fault ref 61CVK221216</p> <p> </p> <p>So a bit of a bitter sweet situation here.</p> <p>Not even going to try the help line as it's never been a success and would be futile.</p> <p>Please investigate</p>
