The service and lack of feedback from Discovery Group Life during a very difficult time has been disappointing. One would expect some support during this time. The insured member passed away in October 2024 and the insured contributed to the Global Education Protector policy monthly. The late insured member was liable for paying the school fees of his four minor children. All forms and supporting documents have been sent to Discovery, some of it multiple times. It seems as though Discovery is trying to make it impossible to claim the benefits and trying to discourage claims by making the process as difficult as possible. E-mails go weeks without being answered. The children will soon be refused access to the school. Very disappointed.
Fibre installation scheduled for today at 08:00. No-one arrived. Then phoned to reschedule at for 14:30. Then they phoned at 12:40 to say they are there. My assistant rushed there to meet them and there is no-one there. Complete and utter disregard. Disgraceful customer service. They cannot phone their installation teams (telecoms company). Unbelievable.
Opened a Capitec Business Account as a requirement to order a Capitec POS card machine. I have phoned and Capitec Merchant Support no less than 10 times and every time I am promised that my "relationship banker" will return my phone call to make the arrangements. No phone call or any contact received whatsoever. Terrible service received so far. Maybe Capitec should reconsider its entry into the business market.
Woolworths should stop their Dash service as they are completely over their heads. They do not have the capacity to administer this service. I received someone else's order. There is no functionality on the app to report this. Call centre does not answer and no response to my email.
Vodacom phoned me to say that I qualify for a discount and that I can get more data and minutes on my contract. They migrated me to a different more expensive contract and cancelled my discounted recurring data bundles that I have had for years. I want this to revert back to the way it was or I will stop the debit order.
It is impossible to cancel usage services with Vodacom Business. You are redirected several times or they promise to revert and then never do. I have been trying to cancel services since October last year with no success.
Nandos should close down the Potchefstroom franchise as this is going to ruin their reputation. Nandos is known for their excellent and relatively healthy food and I have been to countless stores (in SA and the UK) and I have always enjoyed it. Unfortunately, the Potchefstroom store is horrific. This review is not based on one experience but a whole bunch of disappointments over the last three years. My latest experience today involved completely undercooked and ****** chicken livers (ordered well done) and bland chicken with the only flavour being that is tastes a bit off. There is clearly no management oversight, consistency or quality control. The store is generally always dirty which makes me wonder about food safety practices. Food is vile. In my mind, Potchefstroom does not actually have a Nandos (this place is not the same as other stores). I will never buy there again.
Vodacom unilaterally and without notification cancelled my number and recycled it to someone else. I use this number to access business banking and will not be able to conclude a business transaction because of this. I received no notification. The call centre put down the phone when I insisted that this be resolved. Will be taking all my business elsewhere. They happily accepted my airtime recharge of this number.
I have three Vodacom contracts using different devices (one iPhone and two Huawei routers) and they are completely useless in the Potchefstroom area. Network connectivity is so weak, I had to wait to get home to use another network to be able to post this review. The connection is so weak, I cannot even run a Speed Test most of the time. When I was finally able to run a Speed Test today, I could not even get a 1 MBPS download speed. This is specifically in the Bult Area (near the university) in Potchefstroom. I have phoned Vodacom customer service and they did a "Network Synchronisation" which did not help at all. Also promised to phone me back at a specific time and then only phoned an hour later when I was in a meeting. This is clearly a network issue (because it is experienced on 3 different devices). I want to cancel all my Vodacom contracts immediately because their network is useless in this area.
The only way to get any response from FNB, is through making a complaint here. Utterly useless bank. Cannot wait to move all my personal and business accounts to another bank. I submitted the supporting documents for a foreign payment four days ago. I have received no response from them.Their turnaround time is supposedly 1 business day. I have sent follow up emails with only a generic automated response. Unbelievably pathetic.
