We used to subscribe to Showmax until they changed their app and it no longer worked on our smart TV. So, we cancelled the subscription. I thought I would try again after more than a year and see if the app had been improved. Immediately, before I could even test whether it works, the subscription fee was deducted from my bank account. Sadly, the app still does not work on my TV and I can't even cast using the casting function of the TV. It just says: Showmax will not allow it. Now, they refuse to refund me, saying that I already streamed a movie (7 minutes in total while trying to cast it to my TV). Showmax sucks! They won't be seeing me again!
We're going through tremendous financial difficulty. I spoke to Lindo at Outsurance explaining our situation, and he was able to reduce our premium to an amount we can cope with. Thank you Lindo and Outsurance for your amazing service.

My husband has been a type 1 diabetic for more than 50 Years. A few years ago I took out an ABSA Instant Life policy (POLICY 292524) on his life, which I have been paying religiously since then. We lost everything during Covid but I somehow managed to hang onto this policy for dear life, only to be informed that this is not a full death cover policy. I was unaware of this and only found out a few days ago. I took it out because I needed something in case my husband dies. Now, I have nothing and ABSA Instant Life says the policy cannot be changed or converted. So basically, I have wasted a ton of money on something that isn't going to mean a thing to me. I'm so sad and disappointed. I thought they might be a bit more accommodating, but no, that's not the case. It was my mistake, but after all the money I've spent I was hoping they'd understand??

My cell phone (082 653 2310) has been suspended for more than a week, despite sending all proofs of payments to the relevant departments, as requested. My account is not in arrears and yet nobody has been able to sort out this major *****up?????
Their response is always quick and efficient.
