Let me warn all prospective hospitality clients or chefs or otherwise that this recruitment agency must be avoided at all costs. They will send out notifications for possible positions but in less than a minute you will receive a notification stating that you are not suitable for the position. No matter what position as a hospitality employee etc you apply for, your CV will be rejected. Now my issue with this is, has the client, who has employed them, seen the CV? Have the viewed all potential applicants? Is the choice to view CV's not with the client? Is the choice to hire an employee not with the client? In otherwords, as a client and I am not been given a number of choices for MY business by Kendrick recruitment because you assume to know what I want, then you are defrauding a number of applicants to be given equal opportunity to be employed and denying a client a service that you get paid for. A number of qualified chefs have submitted their CV's to Kendrick Recruitment and within minutes rejected. So avoid them and try another agency where you have a far better chance of being given the opportunity of an interview than just being simply rejected. Potential clients, save your money and use a rather more honest agency.
<p>I decided to check my bank account and noticed R 78.00 per month being debited from my account since February and in total R 468.00 has been taken off my account and I am on the line with them now telling them that i have never heard of them. ***!!!! You bunch of thieves</p>
<p>We have had an account with Lewis for nearly Two years and in those years we have endless problems with our furniture we bought. It broke within the first 6 months. they state they have a maintenance place but they like to let that plan fall away before helping you. It has taken them 8 months to fix my couch, the TV still has the same issues, fridge does not work as they 'cannot get a part', nothwithstanding my food that rots daily because my fridge does not close. The interest they charge is over the standard normal interest and they are useless in every sense of the word and the one branch doesnt know what the other one is doing. I am taking them to the Consumer Protection Council and Ombudsman. Until my furniture is fixed I will not and I reiterate, I will not pay my account. I have even sent emails to the service centre and even they do not care. DO NOT BUY FROM LEWIS, THEIR FURNITURE BREAKS AND IT DOES NOT GET FIXED. SERVICE IS TERRIBLE. </p>
<p>MY son recently left the company, after working an extra week, they still have not paid him for that extra week. He signed in the OB book. So, I contact their HR and chat to Melissa, after a screaming match between her and I regarding the outstanding salary, she tells me he will get paid Friday. That was last week. I contact them again and she says that my son has not handed in his time sheet!!! Really, you cant just pick up the OB and check his on and off times. Then its this and that. So I ask for the the Director of the company, well thank you very much (sarcasm), he tells me it is not his responsibility to look in the OB (granted, it is not but is that not why you have a staff member from HR to do it) and he puts the phone down in my ear. Then I check my son's bank statements where I see that Protective force pays their staff after the 30th, well they did my son. SO, not only do they not pay their staff taking advantage of an loyal employee who left so they do not have to pay them their salary but also the director is so rude, not taking the time to listen to me and understand that I had a complaint. He could not deal with it in a respectful and proffessional manner but chose to scream into the phone with Melissa muttering in the background. I think this is terrible and unprofessional that you cannot pay your employees and that you pay your employees late. Just do the right thing and pay the employee what is due to him. </p>
<p>My fiance was contacted by trasing agents on behalf of Alexander Forbes in connection with surplus pension that must be paid to him. The forms were filled out the same day and sent to surplus email address he was given. Two weeks later he calls for a progress report, only to be told the forms are blan**** That was a lie. Secondly that he must open his own bank account even though we share a bank account and the forms sent state that he is signatory on the bank account. They have the original bank form. So after two weeks, no one from Alexander Forbes could call or email to let us know. There is NO COMMUNICATION whatsoever. He would like his surplus paid promptly and have the common decency to let him know what is going on. You cannot take this long. </p>
I am extremely sick and had to resign from my previous job at Embrace Group in Somerset West. I handed in my weeks notice and I had only been working there 12 days to the Director Monica Schoonraad who accepted my resignation and told me that I need not come in anymore. She then stated she would pay me for the days owed on Friday the 29th of January 2016. Today, 1st of Feb, I check my bank account again and she still had not paid me. I then called her and she vehemently told me she would not be paying me due to not working in my notice even though she told me I do not need to (I have witnesses who can attest to that) and also that I did not sign a contract. A contract mind you that pertain to her pest control technicians and not admin. A contract she stated her and I must revise BEFORE I sign it. She has accused me of being a liar, slammed telephones in my ear, screamed at me, all because she is avoiding paying me. Do the right thing Monica and pay a very sickly person.
I AM UTTERLY GOBSMACKED AT THE CO-OWNER JACKIE, WHOM NOT ONLY CANNOT SPEAK ENGLISH PROPERLY BUT HAS ALSO THREATENED MY SON AFTER CCMA AWARDED MY SON FOR MSR TO PAY MY SON WHAT THEY OWE HIM AS THEY WERE AT FAULT. PLEASE SEE PREVIOUS COMPLAINTS REGARDING MSR SECURITY AND HOW THEY DO NOT PAY STAFF, THREATEN STAFF, LIE AND CHEAT. JACKIE HAS REFUSED TO PAY MY SON I.R.O. OF A LABOUR RELATIONS ENFORCEMENT ACT AND SAYS SHE WILL DO IT AT HER OWN TIME. SHE IS NOT AFRAID OF CCMA AND MY SON CAN GO GET F&^*KED (HER WORDS). WHAT KIND OF BUSINESS ARE YOU RUNNING?<br> IF YOU DO THIS TO YOUR STAFF, HOW ARE YOU ROBBING YOUR CLIENTS???? HER FOWL MOUTHED LANGUGAGE IN BROKEN ENGLISH IS LEFT TO BE DESIRED. CRIMINAL PROCEDURES WILL KNOW BE ENFORCED ON MSR SECURITY AND I DO HOPE THAT YOU NEVER DO THIS TO YOUR CUSTOMERS. SO IF YOU ARE A CUSTOMER OF MSR SECURITY, GO READ YOUR BILLING, WHO KNOWS, THEY COULD BE ROBBING YOU TOO.
I still cannot believe that Cell C has still not sorted out my last enquiry about the Real Deal Competition. After being told by a Cell C representative that they would sort this matter out, it still has not been sorted. Secondly, I received a call from Tummy who know has come to me with her third story about the winners payouts (sic)...<br> This time it was that the winners will be paid out every week. First it was 60 days, then a delay and to be paid in 2 weeks ago and now every week and some nonsense. I have never ever been so disappointed in my life that there is not a single person in Cell C who can tell me what exactly is happening. No positive response, not a thing. I have absolutely no faith in Cell C any more and never will have again.
On the 16th of July this year, I was contacted by a lady Tummy who stated to me that I had won R 4000 through the Real Deal competition. I had to send my bank details to her (I did confirm this with Cell C customer Care) and she replied that the payment will be done WITHIN 60 days. The 60 days have come and gone and I have contacted her asking when will this so called pay-out happen as she does have bank details? She stated that the auditors were delayed in making payments and that it should happen this week being 25/09/2015. I have tried contacting her again, emailing her, calling customer care to which no one can tell me what is happening, hoax or not etc but all I know is that I spent a lot of airtime answering the daily sms questions to enter into the draw to win either a car or One million or to when the daily draw of wither 1,2, 3, 4 or R 5 000 and now I am left so disappointed and feel so let down that Cell C can take advantage of their customers like this. I am now going to port to another service provider that will not lie to me or take advantage of me.
MSR Security, you people are terrible in the way you treat your staff and not complying with the labour law. You pay your staff below minimum wage of R 1200 a month, no salary advices, unauthorised deductions made on salaries, you hold discplinaries and deny the employee any form of representation and make staff sign different contracts every month. You out right accuse employees of bad work but have no proof to back it up. Richard you are one of the most uneducated men I know with regards to treating your staff fairly. Jeannine, you cannot supply your staff with correct salary break downs or salary advices and when your employees work long hours you make unlawful deductions that an employee has not signed for and cannot offer an explanation as to why. If this is how you rob your employees, I would hate to see how you operate for your clients.
