After more than 6 weeks of putting in a building claim for lightning damage to inverters Standard Bank Insurance have rejected the claim. Multiple assessors were sent to the property and after finally getting a report from the last assessor the Bank has rejected it claiming it was not due to lightning damage. It is unacceptable for a customer to have to follow up daily to get a status. 6 weeks have passed where I have not been able to make a decision to fix the system due to waiting for Standard Bank. It was very clear the damage was caused by lightning.
Unable to reach them for assistance. Been on the line for an hour. No messages about operating hours or availability. Outright unacceptable.
Shocking Service. Do NOT answer phone Do NOT respond to email
<p>As a result of poor service I decided to cancel ALL telkom services in August 2016.</p> <p>On 23 August 2016 I sent cancellation forms by email to ********** and ********** to cancel services ********** 543 and ********** 144. The ********** 144 number has been cancelled (I assume it is cancelled as I am not receiving invoices anymore)</p> <p> </p> <p>I have queried the status of the ********** 543 cancellation as I am still being invoiced for the services. Every time I call I get told that there is nothing they can do except escalte to the Cancellation Department and I get asked to resend the cancellation forms. This has been done on;</p> <p>9, 21, 22 and 29 September 2016</p> <p>17 November 2016</p> <p>19 December 2016</p> <p>31 January 2017</p> <p> </p> <p>As the services are no longer being used all payment has been stopped and I am now receiving threatening sms's.</p> <p>I again called for assistance this morning and got told the same story "send the cancellation forms and we will escalate" The call centre staff (occording to them) have no means to comminicate with the so called cancellation department - so where to from here. I have threatened legal action but this is probably a hollow threat as where would one send such a comminication? NO ONE SEEMS TO LISTEN, CARE OR GIVE A DAMN.
