I bought a Yong Heng compressor from them on 29 August 2025. Last week it literally just "blew up". Thankfully not the high-pressure side. I reached out to enquire about the warrantee and at first, I got very vague and veiled responses. Mentions of "physical damage" etc. Basically, I was indirectly accused of dropping the compressor. I took it to the shop on Friday 27 February 2026. The assistant said that he had never seen anything like that happen and assured me that he would get the problem sorted, and push for a replacement rather than a repair. Also offered to even lend me his personal compressor if it wasn't sorted out by the weekend of the 7th. On Thursday the 5th of March I sent him messages, which was not even read. So, on Thursday evening I sent a message to his phone and the shop's WhatsApp number. No reply from manager/owner, but the salesman reached out asking for time to sort it out and talk to "them". Late last year I bought a shop demo rifle from them on clearance. Had some issues and assumed it was not under any warrantee. So, I tinkered with it myself. When I asked for parts list etc. they offered to repair it, but I declined because I had tinkered myself. I would have thought that would have shown them that I would not dishonestly claim a warrantee on the compressor. Unfortunately, I do not think the POPIA act allows me to post message screen grabs. Think carefully, and rather search around, there are plenty of air gun stores with more variety, better value, and better pricing.
I reported a ***** case with ABSA ***** division in mid-September 2025. Complete with SAPS CAS number and affidavit. it is now February 2026 and all response I get is the same generic mail " we acknowledge receipt of your enquiry; it will be forwarded to the person handling your case". To this day I have never gotten a straight answer of whom is actually handling my case, nor any feedback. Pathetic.
Visited the shop yesterday to have them have a look at the regulator on my Airmaks Krait. Within minutes the problem was identified. I also bought a scope and mounts, which they installed for me and even helped get a rough zero before I left. The shop looks amazing and so much to drool over.
So I was browsing for a .177 pcp air rifle last night. Saws the perfect fit on their website. Made contact this morning, confirmed stock, negotiated a little discount, and then arranged for a personal loan at the bank. Literally 20 minutes after the payment was made into my account came the WhatsApp, oops, we only have the .22 in stock, not the .177. Offered me a rifle that is 35% more expensive. Like that helps. Now i have a personal loan, and no rifle. This is probably the worst service I've ever had in the airgun industry in South Africa, and trust me, I've had a few.
well, i have been on the lookout for a specific item for some time now. Over the last few months, yes months, the items has shown on their website, with me being able to "add to cart", but when enquiring, it is always out of stock "at the moment". This is nothing but false advertising, and then you get drawn into a whole exchange about them maybe offering you something similar. I don't care about something similar, if I wanted something else I would have browsed for it myself. I will certainly never waste my time to visit this website again.
Well, I see a lot of negative reviews, but my experience has been very different. I recently started shooting again after a very long break from the hobby. Couldn't get what I wanted at a good price, and suddenly remembered that I bought 3 Gamo scopes from them in 2012 for my springers. All three scopes still holding up, was bought online and received promptly. On 24 September I visited the physical store at Panorama for the first time ever. Spent almost two hours there chatting, buying more than I intended to and I found them really friendly and helpful. Upon leaving, we discovered that the assistant never brought out my tin of pellets I added on late in the sale. They were out of stock, but Dion said he would courier it to me. Even after I said it was fine I would take another brand of similar price. I had a bit of a walk to see what other shops were there and just browsed shortly. While I was loading up my new toys into my car, I got a whatsapp with the waybill for courier guy already. All this trouble for one tin of pellets, at his cost. What other business would go that extra mile? I'm extremely satisfied and will definitely pop by again if I'm in the area.
Review related to Sasolburg branch. Items advertised on dedicated Sasolburg Facebook platform. On enquiry I was greeted very unfriendly by one of the staff members who said he had never even heard of the product and referred me to store manager. He stated that they do not stock the items and even suggested that it must have been on the general Crazy Plastics Facebook. I showed him the post on the dedicated Sasolburg Facebook platform, to which he rudely rep**** that they do not update it themselves. Sir, the correct response would have been to apologise for the error and offering to get it for me from another branch. This is false advertising and not the first time I have experienced this at you branch/store.
I have always been a fan of doctor Swartz and have gotten excellent service from her. On Friday I had an appointment where I specifically asked to see doctor Swartz when I made the appointment. When the time arrived for the consultation, she was not even at work and I was greeted by her partner, whom I simply did not want to see for personal reasons. So, I wasted my afternoon on an appointment that could not be kept. I'm afraid I will take my business elsewhere in future where I know I will get top notch service and care from any of the partners.
Can anyone give me a number to phone where they are actually able to cancel this nonsense?
I bought a low pressure air conversion kit from Kevin for my Hammerli 850 Airmagnum CO2 air rifle. We had an appointment that I drove 100km for, only to find he was not at home and left my kit with one of his workers. When I got home, I found that some parts were missing. After a lot of back and forth messages Kevin promised to mail them to me. This never happened. Then he had an excuse that it must have been lost in the mail and that he would courier it to me. This also never happened and he eventually blocked my phone number after several inquiries. Also, the conversion kit was never tested on a rifle similar to mine I suspect, as it does not fire at all. So in the end I bought a R700 paper weight. Save yourself a lot of heartache and avoid this man.
