I bought a new Acer top of the range laptop from the Greensrone branch. After 6 weeks the battery started going flat while shut down. It would lose 30% in 2 days while shut down. I returned it in its origional packaging. They they told me their turn around time for laptop repairs is 20 working days or a month. Reluctantly I handed it in. 3 weeks later Acer sent me an email that they replaced the battery but the laptop would now only have a 3 month warranty. I phoned customer care to ask for a replacement. I was told they would only possibly do that if the item was less than 7 days old. I was told I was asking for something unreasonable. I phoned the store manager and requested a refund. I told him I was prepared to pay an admin cost. He flately refused. Section 6 of their own terms and conditions state they fully support the CPA and will repair, replace or refund the item if necessary. The CPA rules state it is up to the client to decide which to choose. They don't abide by their own terms and conditions. This is the service you can expect from Incredible Connection. I wanted to support a walk in store rather than a random online store. I made a mistake. A month later I never collected my item and have approached the CPA.
Bought solar lights from them. They delivered a much cheaper plastic version to what is on their website. Bringing it to their attention I got the reply I was wrong and I would have to pay any expenses if I was to return them. I already own a light they display. The cheap plastic version is completely different. They do not always send what they display and they will not be forthcoming with a solation.
Aquanet Randburg / Johannesburg are highly recommended. They fitted a solid pool cover to my pool. A month later I sent an email mentioning that perhaps the blanket could have overlapped the pool more. No questions asked they made me a new blanket. It is the second time I have a pool cover made by Aquanet. Nothing is too much trouble for them. They are a pleasure to deal with.
There is a site https://gdautoelectric-sa.com which is an online shopping site for a company in Cape Town. The actual company is in Rustenburg. There is no Cape Town branch. They sell cheap generators but they don't exist and will not send you anything. They sound Nigerian. Do not buy anything form them.
We ordered an oxygenator from Decor Essentials. Their price is R8500. The identical one at Takealot is R14800. The service is second to none. Geraldine holds your hand throughout the process from ordering to delivering. This company comes highly recommended. We even got a free oximeter and box of masks.
This policy of theirs that your premiums decrease is simply not true. I am paying R 4500.00 per month for my policy. I have had my policy for about 2 years. Never claimed. In the first three months they gave me R 18.00 decrease after which the policy has just increased. Month one congratulations your policy decreased by R 6.00. Month 2 and three the same. Now sorry but we have to increase your policy letters.
Aquanet Edenvale installed a large pool cover for us. 6 months later I complained that the design was not great. It was not easy to remove and replace the cover. They took the blanket away, redesigned the way it fitted and reinstalled at no cost. I would recommend them.
I bought an item from them 2 weeks ago. I paid upfront. No delivery although they claim to have the items in stock. Their telephone numbers don't exist and they don't answer emails. Beware do not buy from these people.
Ironically if you have heart problems Dr Zambakides is the last place you should go. Not because he is lacking as a cardiologist, because you will have to deal with what they call their accounts department. When your appointment is due expect a SMS reading "YOU CANT SEE THE DOCTOR. YOU HAVEN'T PAID" . No other info. There is a 99 percent chance you have paid but you will have to move mountains to prove that. No statements, no accounts contact number. Your accounts will only be submitted to medical aid 3 months later. She is also quite aggressive. She reminds me of one of the dragons in Game Of Thrones.
My mom (who is 83) is on vitality and was going to gym at Bedfordview. In July she was informed that she hadn't gone to gym enough times and therefore if she wanted to continue going to gym she would have to pay another activation fee. She decided not to. Since 1 August I noticed virgin active taking R 412.00 out of her account monthly. She used to pay R208 I'm not sure why VA decided they can now deduct double that without saying anything. Not very ethical.
