Disgusted how this company operates. My FTTH service was suspended in June when a debit order bounced thus I received no internet - fair enough. They then cancelled my service in July but still expected me to pay for a full month of internet ... that I never received. Then they bill me for a router ... that I never received. R2,098 for two things I didn't get, and they threatened to black list me. The ONLY way to contact them is via WhatsApp which usually takes 5 hours to get to the right department and then you may resolve your issue, or get cut off. Their Twitter accounts are non-responsive as well. How can this be called service? They've stolen R2,098 from me, the respect for their customers (who keep them in business) is non-existent.
Thank you Les & team. Great, fast & personal service and wow, the mug came out really great! Keep it up
Unemployed for 8 months so I fell behind on my payments. As soon as I got a job I caught up the arrears and continued paying, no issues. When the contract came to an end I repeatedly tried to finance the balloon amount with you...for months, and no one got back to me. I never stopped paying monthly (roughly the same as my old instalment). You handed me over to attorneys and point blank refused any arrangements besides "proceed with legal action" (your one-line response, verbatim) - I budgeted that the balloon amount would've been paid up in October this year! Now months later, without notification, you repossess the car. The whole thing just feels so underhanded. The response from your attorneys was "you have to pay the full amount as my client is not willing to make arrangements', no other information - no next steps, the legalities, implications, etc.

Thank you Home Loans for assisting me during my unemployment and getting back on my feet. The only department in the company that understands what 8 months with no income means. Your assistance had a quick turnaround time and was as simple as a phone call. Thank you again.

Not really a complaint, just frustrated with the call-only communication channels. My phone has been suspended (rightly so due to slow-payment) and I cannot respond to any of Vodacom's communications - even calls to free Vodacom numbers fail. I responded to an email received yesterday from ********** but was returned with a 'mailbox full' message and I cannot find any other email addresses anywhere on the internet. Please could someone from legal call me back to resolve this. Thanks in advance.

Firstly I'd like to thank Home Loans for accommodating me during my 8 months of unemployement. Your assistance took some pressure and stress out of my life.

Secondly I'd like to thank Mpho Hlongwane who, upon learning that my phone was suspended and thus I couldn't call the legal department to resolve an issue, then connected myself telephonically to legal via conference call.

Thank you both for going the extra mile to resolve my issues as quickly as possible.

The rest of Standard Bank's divisions should be more aligned to this level of service.

I was unemployed for 8 months and was in contact with the below email addresses from time to time detailing this fact and that my phone is suspended and cannot make calls:
********** ********** ********** ********** ********** ********** **********

I also made payments (not full installments) as and when I received money for freelance work.

Despite the above, not one department/person (bar home loans and Mpho Hlongwane who were both very helpful and accommodating) responded or took my position into account. What happened to all my emails? Ignored? I've received two requests to pay account balances in full...I'VE BEEN UNEMPLOYED FOR 8 MONTHS! NO SALARY FOR 8 MONTHS! Where do you expect me to find R100,000+? Seriously.

Now to add to my frustration, my current account was (understandably) handed over to legal as I was overdrawn and the account blocked. Since then, I found employment in May and my salary paid into the abovementioned account. Now I cannot access these funds and Standard Bank is making it almost impossible to resolve this issue. I was informed yesterday that the block has been lifted yet I still cannot transact, even the banking app has no options under the Transact section.

I understand the fact that card is a separate division from home loans from personal loans etc. but surely you use one system?

I don't know how many more email addresses I need to include in the above mailing list in order to resolve all issues.

Internet issues at my home in Douglasdale, and within a small radius surrounding it, have persisted for two weeks now. These issues occur on my handset, my LTE router and another resident's handset and LTE router.

The Contact Us page on the website [URL Removed] just loaded a blank, white page. So I have now come here.

Hopefully this will aid in getting to the root of the problem.

I did numerous Ookla Speedtests today, with all tests on my journey from Rivonia to Douglasdale reporting download speeds of 20 megabits and higher, and upload speeds of 3 megabits and higher. These tests were conducted in the Riverclub area, on Grosvenor approaching Cumberland Ave from William Nicol and Grosvenor between Moray Dr and Leslie Ave. All servers were Vodacom servers. Another successful test was conducted on Leslie crossing the Jukskei river with downloads of 20 and higher and uploads of 1.

Further tests at home reported download speeds of 14 megabits and higher, with upload speeds of 0! Doesn't that look like a problem? Servers were Telkom SA (SAIX), MTN Business and Vodacom.

So please stop telling me that there are no issues and let's sort this out.
