This insurance brokerage calls you daily when they want you to sign up with them. Once this is done they then ghost you and leave you on your own to sort things out. You are unable to get hold of anyone, and nobody takes accountability for the insurance portfolio that you would have just signed up for. This is by far the worst insurance brokerage firm that I dealt with in the last 30 years that I’ve been exposed to!
I have recently made a purchase from Takealot, and when the delivery reached me, it had an item incomplete (I received a single item, instead of a pack of the same). The following day I logged a complaint regarding my delivery and a consultant called Herschelle.H responded to me a day later. A few emails were exchanged and our last correspondence from this person was on 22 November 2023, in which he/she said that they were going to investigate this and come back to me. I did tell them that the ink cartridge (what was ordered), was required urgently in order to run my business, and appreciated a quick response, but that fell into deaf ears, and this consultant has ignored my follow up email since. The sad thing is that Takelot does not provide any other contacts to communicate with, or even a customer service line to escalate any problems like this. To be honest, this is not the first time I have experience this poor after-sales from Takealot, I have previously stopped supporting Takealot in the past for the very same reason. If there is anyone from Takealot reading this, then you know what, you can keep the ink cartridges that I paid for and never received. I'll just purchase another set from somewhere else and NEVER support you'll again. I can't wait for Amazon to start trading in South Africa, so that we get a professional world class E-Commerce company to show you'll how its done. Jeevan Pather

I would like bring to the attention of the management of the Game Store (Mall of Africa), that your store (and in particular the customer service) is PATHETIC. I purchased a laptop over 3 months ago, and despite it carrying a 3 year extended warranty, and despite trying to register for it (and following up with your customer services), this has still not happended. I have been sent from pillar to post and made countless follow-ups but all your staff seem to do is pass the buck. YOUR SERVICE SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!

I recently submitted a claim to Budget Insurance, and I must admit that the entire process went by quite smoothly and efficiently. I was assigned to an Assessor named Deon Pretorius who was fabulous. Having just experienced a traumatic event which triggered the claim, Deon managed the entire process very professionally and despite the trauma, helped me navigate the claim process as painfree as possible. Kudos to you Deon, and thank you to the Budget team for supporting me during a very dark period recently.
