I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the wedding dress we had made by BBB Exclusive Boutique. What should have been a joyous occasion turned into an incredibly stressful and disappointing ordeal. Two weeks before the wedding, the dress was in a state that was beyond repair. The bodice and skirt were completely mismatched in colour—one being white and the other off-white—and the discrepancy was immediately noticeable. The front panels were skew and didn’t match up, while a yellow zipper was sewn into the back of a white dress. Additionally, the dress was dirty, with noticeable hook marks, and the fit was far from what was promised. It was shapeless when it should have been figure-hugging, and the train was placed too high. With each fitting, we found that significant alterations were necessary, but every time one issue was fixed, another would arise. To make matters worse, Lena insisted we pay the full amount two weeks before the wedding, despite the fact that the dress was not finished, and the quality was far below expectations. I was also deeply disappointed that in the final fittings, Lena seemed completely uninterested in overseeing the process, leaving the alterations to your seamstress, who was unable to execute them properly. Throughout this entire process, Lena assured us that the dress would be exactly as my daughter envisioned. However, the lack of attention to detail, the continuous issues, and the unprofessionalism left us in a very difficult position, scrambling to find a replacement dress at the last minute. This was not only stressful, but also heartbreaking at such a significant time in our lives.
I took my Ford Escort in for CMH Kempster Ford on 8 January 2024 to check the brakes as it was making a screeching noise. Ford advised that I need new brakes. They also said the brakes could not be skimmed as they were too thin. I then paid R7511.14 for new brakes. We then took the old brakes to a independent service provider and he said it was not at all necessary to replace the brakes, and the noise was just a pin that needed replacement. This is about the third time I had a bad experience with them. We have even written a letter to Ford's CEO and numerous other emails with no response what so ever.
It is unreal to try and get service from Discovery Bank. They have now changed the payment details. But it is my problem how I get my credit card paid. The password system does not WOR****!!
So upset with Telkom. In June 2019,' I requested that my supreme call package be cancelled. And to go on strait billing which they did. Now when we open business in January I found out that Telkom has cancelled my line? They said they received a request in June to cancel. That request was for supreme call cancellation. And six months later someone reads the email and cut our line. Now they have to put in a new order, and they take their time and would not even make an effort to try and speedup the order, even if it is their fault. Where can I send a complaint. ?I have registered on line but cannot write a complaint.,?
Please be warned against Platinum Leisure, not to buy a holiday voucher from them. When they sell the voucher it seems as if you will be getting 4 nights stay at one of their listed hotels for the amount of the voucher R500.00. When I booked with them, which was also a battle they informed me that I need to pay an amount of R4000.00 , (R3000.00 for the booking and R1000.00 as a key deposit) The total amount was R6000.00 for the stay but they apparently gave me a discount of R3000.00. I checked and can book this directly at the same place for R750 per night., and through Lekker Slaap at R700.00 per night which will then cost me R2800.00 for 4 nights. This is just a way for them to make money or take your money.
I was totally overcharged by Elite Plumbing 24/7. They charged me R2850.00 to unblock a drain. When I complained they said it was two drains? and that was the going rate. But the drains all connected with one pipe. I have phoned 3 other plumbers who gave me a quote of R750.00-R790.00. Unfortunately I did not ask for a quote first, and also not looked on Hellopeter for all the bad reviews. So if you need to use them get a quote first.
After 7 attempts from 4/9/2014 by Telkom technicians, only Shimmy Oldjohn on 14/2/2015 (5 and half months later) was prepared to go the extra mile. He replaced the outside telephone line, with lots of effort, as it was raining and he had to enter two other properties to connect the telephone line. I was going to disconnect my landline, but thanks to Shimmy Oldjohn I still have my Telkom line. Telkom you need more Shimmy Oldjohn's in your company this will save you money and you will keep your customers.
