I recently bought the philpis steam iron, at almost 3k and have been writing to them for support but im not getting any response whatsoever. The telephone number on their website is "not in service", so they are basically not reachable
A month ago I purchased bar chairs from Nu season online, and two weeks later they still had not delivered. When they finally delivered they delivered badly wrapped items, not even boxed, and also incorrect and badly damaged items that looks old and used. Following this i had to bed them to collect the items or give me an addrees to drop the items. They blatantly refused to provide an address saying they do not have a drop off location (how so when your offices are here in Joburg). Eventually they collected the items, two weeks ago, and were silecne about my refund. I reached to them again via email and their response was again very doggy. They asked for my banking details so they can reverse the payment. Does a reversal not entails sending the money back to where it got paid from? Nonetheless i provided banking details, and was promised to get paid within four working days (not of the receipt of the items but of receipt of my banking details). Four days has long passed and im still fighting for my money. When you call their number it goes straight to voicemail, with a recorded mesage saying they are not able to take phone calls and that you need to reach them via email. At this point, i am made to believe that the owners of NU season is a ****.
I have been banking with standard bank since my varsity years back in the 90's. In 2013 I started noticed Naedo debits of R99, R79 which I didn't know, usually amounting to not less than R500 a month. I notified standard bank, and their response was always "ask those companies to stop the debits because we cannot do anything on our side". hello, you are able to allow debits to go through without my permission but cannot stop them at my instruction. Who's interest are you exactly serving, at whose expense? I had always maintained that I have no idea who those companies were. I forget to reverse those debits within forty days standard bank would refuse to reverse them without a fee. I got tired of all this ad decided the way out was to close the account. Now standard bank is telling me that even after closing the account, any uncancelled debit will still go through and I will be liable to pay. How do I close debits that I did not initiate in the first place? I have asked them to close this account 6 weeks ago, at that time the account had Nil (zero balance) . For three weeks I didn't hear from them besides me sending follow-up emails. In the forth week, they effected the service fees etc, then those unauthorized debits and other debits which I forgot to cancel. All those debits debited from the overdraft since I had no money in that account, the account to me was non-existing. Now they are saying I must pay those fees before they can close the account. What game is standard bank playing here? why were they waiting for when I had instructed them to close the damn account effective immediately? If my authorized debits which I forgot to notify didn't get any money they would have called me, in other words it shouldn't be standard banks problem that my debits bounce, theirs is to do as I tell them. standardbank, the relationship we ad is over, please accept it and move on! get your R99 debits from elsewhere, not me. Please close the damn account!
MTN switched off my Ipad, they stopped the service without noticing me after accusing me of having taken three contract phones with them. lately they sent me statements of monies that I supposedly owe them which I do not understand how.

Now it seems like I have been barred from contacting them because every time I call them I do not go through and so are my emails. I learned from an MTN consultant from a branch that my account is not on their system, my sim card number can not be found as well. I am soooo pissed off with them.
