Used them for the first time today - my branch is Checkers Cobble Walk, all good - very prompt service.
I have been trying for months to set up a Paypal account with FNB. I discovered that my FNB account that I setup especially to only use PAypal had gone dormant the beginning of this year. I spent two sessions at FNB trying to get it reinstated - each of about 2 hours. Finally decided to get a reall FNB account with card. One of the assistants lost my Proof of address as I sat there waiting - and insisted I had taken it back from her. I emptied my bag twice to show her I didn't have it and there is nowhere in a foyer to put a very visible couple of sheets of paper. I ahd to go and get another statement printed - with P.O.D Wait again and finally they made an account. This took 2 hours. Got home, still couldn't connect my Paypal. Ahve been back twice - they update my details in the bank - I get home the details have reverted to what they were befoer I went there. I update them her they will not save my details. I cannot update my Profile - it keeps getting overridden. I will have to go back there again. In the meanwhile Paypal can't verify as the addresses are wrong on FNB. I am disgusted. The people ther are very helpful but it doesn't help if the system is glitchy and the Paypal offering DOES NOT WORK! I wish that bank would step up and take this over. You have to have a laptop that you take in there for them to do it. This is shocking service. I have wasted hours of my time on there and it is this faceless thing that I can't stand. If there is any anomaly you get spat out by the system. Who has time for this nonsence?
I highly recommend any Postnet in the country - I have been using them for years, sent tons of items and have received consistently good service from them. The staff are always friendly, helpful and efficient. Sending parcels works so well - I have never had a problem with them. This is a business model that is streamlined and simple, easy to use. Well done Postnet!
Fantastic service at Bid or Buy - smooth interactions and very helpful behind the scenes for seller. Highly recommend them.
All the Postnets I have dealt with - they are fantastic - all without exception! Brilliant business model!
A few months ago a salesman tried to pitch fibre to me. I politely said I wasn't interested but he suggested keeping the package they had on hold for 6 months - maybe I would be interested then to which I agreed. It is 6 months later and I am in the 7th circle of hell with Mweb. They have gone ahead with the order without first consulting me - it was NOT a definite thing!!! According to them I ordered fibre. I have phoned in repeatedly and I get shunted from Peter to Paul to Mary in between having to listen to a disgusting worn down tape recording of music deliberately designed to wear you down. Also - there is no department to help me. On phone or on my site. There is no option for what has happened to me - so no one will help me. Either they help me - via Hellopeter or I cancel. What has happened to Mweb!??
Please don't get us to sign and pay for contracts which tell us that we have uncapped internet, Mweb. Something has changed. If you are not happy with how much I am downloading, phone me. tell me that my contract is no longer valid and that the terms we agreed to no longer exist. You told me that I have an uncapped service with you - now in the middle of the service contract you change the rules. YOU decide I am no longer uncapped and you don't tell me. Tell me that I am capped. Tell me how much exactly I am allowed to download. Don't secretly throttle me behind my back. Please contact me and let us discuss a new contract. I am happy with Mweb - I have always liked them - but this is a new development that I'm not happy with.
My niece purchased an Iphone on contract and when time came to get a new phone she swapped to Samsung and gave me her Iphone. Iphone requested a password and I put MY password for MY simcard in - (she never knew I would need her Iphone password). Long story short, Iphone is locked and Apple refuse to reset the Iphone to default, so that I can use it with my simcard, - WITHOUT PROOF OF PURCHASE. They need the last 3 digits that appear on Vodacom statements which are blanked out. My niece phoned Vodacom and they informed that they do NOT keep record of the purchase. At first. After a lot of badgering she found someone who told her that she would get a statement with those digits on to her. This was in January. We are still waiting. We have been busy and could not pursue it. I need the phone. What can we do to resolve this?
