One of the best customer experiences I have ever had. I emailed Biogen and dealt with Ashley (unfortunately do not have her surname) with regards to a faulty product and explained that I know its a very good gym glove, but that mine had a bit of a problem. Without any hesitation I was offered a new pair and apologized to about the ones I bought. Not that an apology was necessary, I can understand that sometimes small problems can slip thru. Thank you Biogen, I can see why you are one of the top products out there.
I recently went to Builders to look for a solution to pests taking over my indoor plants. I'm not the biggest fan of Builders, but I can positively comment on some staff members. They did not have stock of the specific pest control my books suggested, but a lady (Unfortunately did not get her name, but was a middle aged, white lady, who I met in the plant section. Will update once I got her name) gladly assisted me with a home made remedy. She even went as far as to print the recipe and all the ingredients needed. Only one of the 5 ingredients was something Builders stocked. She was also happy to explain and direct where I could find the rest of the ingredients. So she did not do it to boost sales, she simply helped out a fellow plant lover. And it worked like a charm. I want to thank you for going above and beyond, and whenever I go to town again, I will bring you a small present.
I recently disputed purchases made on my Credit card to the value of over R6000 and You have no way of contacting them to dispute their findings. I have no one who lives with me, I also have no one who can have access to my phone and I definitely do not even have the app they tell my I used to spend all this money. We are currently in lockdown and I have no income, now I have to worry about Google stealing my money also. Never mind that I do not even have money to put food on the table.
Expect slow delivery, **** products not as advertised and useless Customer service. When you leave a negative review on their site about one of the products, it will be removed to keep the ratings up.
After referring several of my customers to House shop, I will be sure to never do it again. Kevin was the consultant who helped me, promising delivery within 3 days, after a week and still no delivery, he kept on telling me it will arrive any day now. I decided to wait patiently for delivery, as I was accepting the basin on behalf of my client. I refer my clients to them directly, in order to save the client extra charges going thru me. I finally received the basin my client ordered and delivered it to her house myself. The client opened the basin along with the Kitchen installer after the December holidays for installation purposes only to find the basin she paid R 2822.93 for, has a crack along the top edge. She discussed this with the House Shop consultant and he informed her that she can purchase a new Flawed basin for an additional R 747.50 No one wants to construct their dream home with a flawed focal point in the Kitchen. The packaging was too short for the basin and torn on the side the basin was damaged. All this was then covered up with two layers of Bubble wrap. I called Kevin, who refused to talk to me and handed me off to Quintus. Quintus was quick to point out to me that I must surely see how ridiculous I am with my expectations. Yes Quintus, it is ridiculous for me to expect you to look after your paying customers. I will be sure to contact the other clients I also referred to you and tell them not to make use of your shoddy service. I also told Quintus that we will contact the Ombudsman, should he refuse to refund my client and this was his reply- “We will no longer be dealing with this. Tertia has already indicated that she will approach the Ombudsman so it is not in our interest to say anything more”
Today I bought a Woolworths pie, expecting it to be value for money as you charge way more than any other brand of pie. When I cut it, there is actually only one quater of a patty on there. Is this the type of "quality" I should expect from a company who stands for high quality product?
This is the third time I get rotten meat from Food Lovers Port Elizabeth. First it was Oxtail so rotten, me and my friends had to sit outside the house when I started cooking it and only realized after a while that its rotten. Second, luckily I smelled the supposed "Fresh Tuna" was rotten before I started making Sushi for me and my friends, I actually caught Food Lovers open at the last second to exchange it. By the way its all frozen not fresh, as they had to cut me a piece of the next days "Fresh Tuna". This past weekend we bought the "Fresh Hake" After making Calamari salad and Hake for our house guests and we started eating, we realized that the Hake is also rotten. This is late at night and we all had salad for dinner. We drive 41km to get to Food Lovers. We are loyal customers. At this rate you are giving me a bad name. When I asked my money back on Monday, just like the first two times, no one bothers to apologized for the inconvenience caused or for the embarrassment they caused us...again. Never mind the distance I drive to support you. We also bought some of your fruit specials. In 2 days time I had three bags of rotten Pears, Rotten Mangoes and Cabbage. This over a weekend where it rained most of the time, so you cant even blame it on the temperatures.
We recently drove thru Port Alfred late at night on a Sunday. We were tired and hungry coming from Mthatha on way to Port Elizabeth. We tried calling so many places in Port Alfred with no success. Sally Claasen at Lavender Room was prepared to help us at that time of night, even went as far to meet us at the self catering room with a world of patients. We slept like babies in the spacious and well equipped unit. Everything was clean, neat and comfortly decorated. Thank you for making us feel welcome and giving us a good night sleep to continue on our journey. We will definitely make use of your facility again in future. You can contact her at: ********** and **********

The staff is very accommodating.
A few weeks back, we spent a weekend at the Kowie River Chalets. Its our second time there together with my parents.

I left my shoes under the bed when we left and only realized it a few days later. When I called they assured me that its still there and that they will send it to me.

I received a message two days ago informing me that it has been sent and that I shouldn't worry about any cost.
When is the last time you experience service where they are prepared to go the extra mile for you even after you left. Thumbs up to you.

Recently we went up to Pretoria for a wedding, but we decided to take a short trip through Lesotho. The night before we crossed the border we stayed over at Balloch camping just before Barkley East. You can not hope to find a better camping site or one that is nearly as clean and well equipped as Balloch. I can honestly say that we were very impressed with the site (we camped in a "Cave") and the beautiful views they had to offer. Unfortunately we could only stay one night, but we will definitely return, hopefully in the not to far future.
