Alarm went off, no one showed up for the emergency.
Our alarm was triggered this morning. No one showed up, until over 2 hours later. Too late to be saving lives and ****** property. This is not the first time. I've also been calling them for over a year to get the Fidelity ADT board on our wall replaced after the old one went missing. No feedback. We are getting another security company, it's smaller, local and visible. I can't emphasise this enough: Fidelity ADT is a waste of money at best, and a life risk at worst. STAY AWAY!
Sent in a CAT phone for repairs, they said it would be done in 10 days. It has been 22 days now. No one is answering calls anymore and I am without a phone.
Please be wary of the online store, it's been 9 days of no delivery, I've just been told to wait another week. What the website page didn't say is that the product is actually not in stock, they have to find it first. In the middle of all that they somehow called a stranger, and allowed the stranger to cancel my order (after I had confirmed my correct number twice). I'm a guy, the stranger is a woman (they told me). You calling about MY money but won't even ask if you talking to the right person? They apologised and said someone made a mistake internally. Also, it depends who you talk to. There's a lady called Kassey there, you wanna stay away from her. Anyway, goodluck.
I have had a terrible experience with Orange Music. On the 21st of January I bought a Seymour Duncan p90 guitar pickup. I paid R1695 in cash. Peter Jammine (salesman) promised that it would arrive in 3-4 days. It didn't. I visited the store repeatedly because Peter wouldn't respond to my emails. Peter kept telling me of probable shipping problems. As a consumer, I am only concerned about getting my money's worth. Not processes. After about 3 weeks of this I requested a refund on the 8th of February. Peter referred me to the manager (Reinhard Venter) who promised I would get my money back on the 10th of February. I write this on the 12th of February. I have not received my money. The manager sent me back to Peter, who claims 'the finance guy' (Mr Willhemse) is busy with it and doesn't know when it will be completed. I haven't had such terrible service from a music store, EVER! As a working musician I have been in dire need of this pickup for work. I have found another supplier to get the pickup. More reliable. I am currently considering CPA (Consumer Protection) intervention) should I not receive my money back (Urgently).
At the end of August I created an Instant Money withdrawal voucher (reflected on App as 3rd Sep for some reason) using the Standard Bank App on my phone. This used to be so convenient before. When I tried withdrawing the money the ATM notified me that there was a technical problem and I ought to try again later. I did, and it said the voucher was invalid. This had happened once before, but the money had eventually come through after repeated attempts. This time it was not to be, I tried for over a week. The amount is R500. I visited the branch at Wonderpark and they confirmed that R500 had left my account, yet no one knows where it is now as I had been unable to withdraw it. They told me InstantMoney is an independent entity, so they tried calling. InstantMoney phones weren't working. They sent an email (about two weeks ago), I still haven't heard anything. Turns out I'm not the only one. I met someone just as frustrated, particularly because Standard Bank can't do anything about this. Money that I worked hard for and entrusted the bank with is gone! I will never use Instant Money again. It is very unreliable.
