Never ending issues. Now we live in a house smelling like sewer posing a health risk to us and our children. The smell coming from the washing machine pipes into our units is really unbearable. This is a universal issue here in Fountain Ridge but they won't fix all the units, each one must complain. M&T is one developer who knows how to steal human dignity from people. You don't value human being, you do not see people. Fountain Ridge and all your other developments are a joke only because you are selfish, and your execution of a good strategy is so poor. You sell your properties so expensive and do not want to spend, you believe in cheap labour which results in poor workmanship. None of the developers,directors and owners will leave in such conditions or even better the M&T units because they are simply not meant for you. To date, I still want to know who approved our units, you will be told they have since left.
Order received. Goods damaged, It looks like you sold me a product that you know was damaged and returned to you or your driver damaged it (how so, that is what is puzzling me) as they also just dropped the bed and left. If you know that we have to inspect the items, kindly ensure that the drivers are willing to wait for us to unpackage the items and go through the inspection with us as there is no inspection form to be signed nor do they leave a copy for the client. As a second home buyer, I have never had to experience so many issues within a month of occupation. My experience at Fountain Ridge has been nothing but horrible and I somehow regret giving M&T the benefit of the doubt. I have complained about almost everything since we resided here and the thought of having people come in and out of your home is just so annoying and unsafe as COVID is still real. Dirty floors and windows, poor carpentry, poor plumbing, damaged door, poor tiling, poor concrete, skew walls are some of the issue we experienced. Our unit was leaking before we occupied (visible traces), the leak was not properly fixed today there plumbers are working on it and it is a massive work. M&T stop putting pressure on your contractors and their workers so that they may deliver the best service. You are pushing quantity but the quality is extremely poor. Thanks to Home Warranty for assisting with all my queries but I just feel that if someone had done their job properly of monitoring and inspection all of this could have been avoided.
FNB claims department appointed this electrician to fix our plug switch from the DB Board. Raphael came, he installed the new circuit breaker but after doing the light circuit breaker kept tripping. He advised that we need a new circuit breaker for the lights as he has none. He will temporarily give us light from another circuit breaker and he will come and out in the new circuit breaker. I am telling you, it has been 3 weeks and he has not pitched. FNB personnel can't get hold of them and neither can i. I tried advising them to log a new call and send out another reputable electrician but they refused. FNB should my whole DB Board burn because of the connection that guy from Dimikie trading did, I am telling you I am going to hold you accountable. Word of advise, when appointing service providers appoint those operating closer to the client's residence. We situated in Midrand you appoint someone from Lensaria or Turfontein, it makes no sense. I have been handed over to VR Attorneys by Karien from Dr Jacovides and Partners without following the proper steps as required by the HPCSA. She lied saying that she did not have my email address but on the file she sent to the attorneys it was provided to them and they used it to contact me and I responded promptly. She never took a chance to find out if I will be able to pay or help with a settlement plan, even after I told her I will pay but did not as I forgot about the sms as I just had a baby. No final letter was sent to me informing me that if I do not pay by a certain date my account will be handed over. She had my contact details on the file but kept sending smses to my partner's number and not my cellphone number as noted on the file. Karien, I am not sure what your relationship is with VR Attorneys but please do the right thing as the Finance Employee from the practice. Check all avenues with the clients before handing them over. I owed the practisa R245 which I have since paid. But VR Attorneys charges are way above that and the cost they can't breakdown to me. How does VR Attorneys get to claim over R700 fees on their first email and when I ask them of the breakdown they are unable to provide it. We are all having it hard, Covid 19 is not only affecting your practice. Just behave ethically and do all the proper checks before accepting a file.
